During a moment of rest, Goldmoon lays hands upon Tas and calls Mishakal's power to heal Sturm and Caramon (Cure Moderate) 12 HP for Sturm, 10 for Caramon

At Goldmoon's touch, Tasslehoff's neck wound and shoulder wound both heal entirely, leaving only his old acid burns behind. The sword slash across Sturm's chest is healed, as well as some of his own acid burns. The sword wounds Caramon suffered are also healed, but not his acid burns.

"Thank Paladine." Sturm bows reverently to Goldmoon, he then walks on in silence, the loss of his friends affecting him greatly.

"I think hope is all that we have right now," Tika admits.

"Indeed, it is all we have.." Laurana admits, "The path leads to Crypts, places that have not been disturbed for a long time, even in the eyes of Elves, who knows what resides down there.."

"So that means we are going to be underground," Tika says. "Which means that we are probably going to need light. Without Rastilin, we don't have the help from his staff."

Laurana continues to lead them through the woods. Suddenly, the pines spread to reveal a clearing about 150 feet across. The grass has been churned into mud by a furious combat, and the bodies of both men and hobgoblins lie grotesquely in the places where death has claimed them.

A groan sounds from the center of this carnage, and a battered human warrior rises from a pile of hobgoblins. His eyes appear glazed and unfocused as he turns his head about, finally looking at the trail where it enters the clearing. He struggles to stay on his feet, but gives up with another groan.

"Of course, I didn't think of that, perhaps we can find some suitable branches as we walk through the forest, and make some torches?" The thought in the back of her mind was how to light them, she didn't know.... "We are somewhat lacking without Rastlin aren't we?"

Seeing the battlefield she gasps, "Oh my, quick.." Her eyes scan the trees, watching for anyone who might be watching them, if there is no one she walks slowly forwards, her bow at the ready. "Tika with me, the rest of you stay back." She orders, hoping Sturm will listen.

Tika's eyes widen at the carnage before her. It gives her a moment pause before she takes notice of the wounded man. At first, she cautiously moves out into the open. Though, that man looks like he needs help, so she quickens her pace towards him.

"What Carnage...." She comments, all she saw these days was death... was this a sign of things to come?

Sturm frowns, that girl. "Cover them, Riverwind watch the trees with your bow, Tas, do what you can. Goldmoon we might need you soon."
