Stepping to the left gracefully, Laurana ignores the feelings in the pit of her stomach and fires her bow at one of the creatures. The first arrow grazes it across the shoulder, the second misses entirely.

Sturm turns and salutes his opponent then charges toward him. However, the draconian is ready for him. When Brightblade comes down, the drac parries, then knocks the heirloom right out of the knight's hands. It lands at his feet and the drac grins evilly, baring its numerous, sharp teeth.

Goldmoon attempts to take a step to the right, but nearly falls off the bridge as a consequence. Once she regains her composure, she loads a bullet into her sling, and fires it into an arc into the air. However, the stone lands harmlessly on the ground a few feet behind her target.

Riverwind, meanwhile, becomes incredibly agitated. Something about these creatures seems familiar to him. Glimpses of them haunt him in his nightmares. The ranger's fear is pushed down to the pit of his gut and instead replaced by pure, blinding rage. Drawing his sword in one hand and his knife in the other, he charges at full speed with a battle scream at the nearest draconian. Both weapons manage to break through the draconian's defenses, leaving some nasty cuts behind.

Tasslehoff slams the point of his hoopak into the bridge itself, then uses it as a big slingshot. He fires two stones at a draconian, but both of the rocks merely bounce off the creature's armor like pelted fruit. The kender frowns. "Oh, boogers!"

Tanis steps to the left, turns around, and draws his bow. He fires two arrows at a draconian. The first is deflected by the creature's blade, but the second one manages to pierce its armor and find a home in the creature's shoulder.

Caramon moves up to attack, if he can get past Goldmoon.

Raistlin starts chanting and moving his hands as he turns to face the strange beasts behind them. He finishes a moment later and flicks his wrist at the group of four as a white glob of thread shoots out at them.

(( Raistlin casts web on the four rear draconians. ))

Caramon dodges around the women and engages the draconian next to the one Riverwind is fighting with (what I presume is) his long sword. The draconian is ready for him, though, and parries the blow with its own blade. It then counterattacks, getting in a lucky hit across the warrior's stomach that might have killed a lesser man. But luckily, Caramon is made of much sterner stuff.

"Insolitus dari textus sihir deceptus mereka," Raistlin intones, conjuring up magical webbing that encases the four draconians behind them, as well as poor Sturm. However, the webbing does not even touch one of the draconians. One gets stuck, but the other two are able to avoid getting ensnared by leaping out of the way in time, their wings giving them a slight boost.

The draconian fighting Riverwind, with a flourish with its blade, cuts across the ranger's arm lightly. The one stuck in Raistlin's webbing struggles to free itself. Of the three that avoided the webbing, two begin chanting the same exact spell. Suddenly, Raistlin, Tanis, Goldmoon and Laurana find themselves in the same predicament! Only Goldmoon is able to avoid getting ensnared, however.

The remaining draconian starts hacking through his companion's webbing, cutting a path right toward the sleeping dwarf.

"EWwww how sticky!" Laurana shouts, slicing her sword (if she can get to it) into the webbing, she had seen her brother cast something similar at some point in the past, she cuts as cleanly as she can, heading for the downed dwarf.

Sturm looks down at his fallen blade at his feet, drawing a dagger from his belt with great difficulty he tries to cut his way to the ancient blade, once he has achieved that he swings the blade in as wide am arc as he can, cutting through the web stuff with all his strength. Going for the creature in front of him.

Caramon staggers back from the blow, wildly swinging his sword while trying to recover.

Goldmoon fires a bullet at draconian No. 5, then puts the sling away to attack with her staff next round.

Laurana drops her bow and wiggles about, just having enough mobility to reach and draw her sword. She starts cutting at the webbing, heading toward Flint. Tas comes up behind her with a dagger and tries to cut her out. "Wrong way!" the kender says. "You're going in deeper!"

Sturm manages to retrieve his sword, and he and Tanis make some headway in cutting themselves free.

Meanwhile, Caramon swings at his opponent, but the blade is parried again. Riverwind has better luck, slicing deeply into his opponent's side. But the angered draconian grabs the ranger's wrist when the knife comes forward and forcefully twists, causing Riverwind to drop the knife with a cry of pain.

Goldmoon swings her sling overhead and lets loose, firing directly into the air. The stone soars upward, arcs a bit, then plummets back to earth. It lands with a thud on a draconian's left shoulder, causing it to curse quite a bit in Common and some other language.

Tasslehoff drops his hoopak and pulls out his little dagger and tries to help cut Laurana free.

(OOC: Sturm can free himself in another 4 rounds. Raistlin is stuck and cannot free himself at all without help. He can still cast spells, though. With Tas' help, Laurana can be free of the webbing in 2 more rounds, but if she tries to cut her way through all of that webbing to reach Flint, it will take significantly longer.)

Raistlin has been wrestling his hands free, trying to get himself out of the web. His magics won't work with this sticky substance all over him.

The draconians fighting Caramon and Riverwind both swing and miss at their opponents. The one stuck in the webbing makes some progress in escaping. The one heading toward Flint is able to cut him loose, then picks up the sleeping dwarf and hefts him over its shoulder.

The remaining two draconians start working their way toward Tanis and Sturm.

Laurana shouts seeing Flint taken away and starts hacking at the webbing to join up with Tas "They are taking Flint away, we have to stop them."

Realizing she won't be able to run towards the draconian who took Flint without getting stuck in the webbing, Goldmoon uses her sling again, praying to the Godess she'll hit the much larger draconian and not Flint.
