Do the caverns count as "natural settings", so that full ranger ability percentiles apply (hide in shadows, move silently), or do they count as "non-natural" so that success probabilities are halved?
I count caverns as natural settings. I only really think of towns and other civilized areas as not natural.
Would Breila be able to tell, in lighting conditions just sufficient for Shay not to stumble, to tell wehter the cave walls, ceiling or floor are all natural or worked with tools? What about close inspection in directed lamplight?
Yes. It's fairly easy to tell when a tunnel has been constructed naturally or not, especially under scrutiny.

Well, after all of this time (a few months, actually), we finally actually made it inside the cavern itself (and there the module proper).
Unfortunately, BASSsic hasn't logged in since November 26th. I've had no word from him at all.
I haven't heard from your friend, either, Jenara. The one who was going to play a mage? So...looks like it might just be you two girls for awhile.

Ok,
I asked Kelby (my friend) again today, she still intends to create a character.
Someone else has asked if they can join, idea is a Human
male Dual class 2nd level fighter who switched to Red Robed Wizard (and advanced to 3rd level)...
Suggested they sign up and post a concept.
As for Bassic, have you e-mailed him? Just a thought.

Hey,
Lots of my posts are on my PDA, hence the reason my HTML maybe slightly wrong, but please what is actually wrong with it?
Oh and Jerrard has been delayed, he'll be making a PC early this week (got him working, lol)

Usually you forget to add the end of it or you miss a bracket. Basically, you get posts like this:
"Hello, my name is Locky and I love adventuring!"[/color she said.
It's no big deal, though.

What are we doing with Shay? Carry him along as a NPC? Or assume he turned around without telling us?
Oh, and I'll be offline from December 25th to January 3rd, visiting my parents and sister.

I suppose for now I'll have to NPC Shay, since I have no idea when or if BASSsic will return.

He's not replied to my e-mail... so yeah.

Okay, Jerrad, everything looks good. The only thing was that as a Red Robed wizard, your character's religion would be Lunitari (the red moon), not Solinari (the white moon). A minor detail. You can start posting now in the game thread. We can presume your character arrives at the cavern shortly after the others have entered, by coincidence.

I can't scan the maps from the module. I suppose I could redraw them myself and post them up, though.

In the paper-and-pencil campaign I played years ago, we players were responsible for drawing our own maps from the descriptions our DM gave us. If there was a mistake, the blame wa on us, and the discussions we had as we were drawing them helped a lot to viualize the setting. Could this be an idea here?
JadedDM could provide us with a basic map of the part we've explored so far, and Jenara and I would keep it up to date (just like we acted it out as Locky and Babushka), Jerrard and Shay could point out mistakes. That is, if we find a data format we all can use.
