Labyrinth OOC

A classic 2e Puzzle dungeon for High Level characters
Beware, this one is substantially longer and (IMHO) even harder than the legendary Tomb of Horrors!

I suppose that depends on which lvl 5 Divination spell Lord Torath was asking about.

The two spells discussed before that were:
Tongues, a lvl 4 Divine, material component is a little clay ziggaurat which should be easy enough to make.
Speak with Monsters, a lvl 6 divine spell, but no material component is necessary

If he was asking about something unrelated to the language discussion, it just depends on if the components are rare or have a gp value assigned to them. If it is either of those, then it should be listed in inventory. some things can probably be bought/ made/ borrowed in camp, but it really just depends on what the component is. simple things (like a little brass trumpet) you can probably find someone with or with the ability to make

Huh. Somehow I demoted Speak w/ Monsters a level in my brain. Sorry for the confusion.

We don't currently have any monsters we need to speak with, but if someone has Charm Monster prepared, then Speak w/ Monsters and/or Tongues would also be a good call.

“Has anyone other suggestions before we attempt another go at the Labyrinth?” Axid inquires.
You are talkin' to the holy symbol wearing,
Ruby ring wearing, kiss stealing; Woo!

Son of a blowgun, and I'm having a hard time holding these Aboleth shoes down! WOO!

I don't, Jag is happy with supporting what others are doing.

Jack is having a blast scouting the new terrain.

Steve's got nothing else to do until morning. Would Jack be interested in a gem that can let his sword ignore armor and cut through stone columns, with a slight chance of breaking the weapon?

Ke'Sha's is not with you currently, but I still want to create 3 undead, summon animal and turn it also to undead and then summon another undead to finish the undead squad. This involves potential three battles (although I hope that all can be avoided). Then only switching spells to "dungeon spells" would take about a day.

So first day was the 3rd of the month. The 4th we spent in preparation. Are you thinking you'll be ready on the morning of the 5th? Or will you need another day?

No. If I get it right, on the 3rd we have been in the Labyrinth. On 3rd afternoon we returned to camp and met you. On the evening we had the Fire elemental lighten the atmosphere, then most of the 4th Ke'Sha switched his spells while you identified items, now this is 4th midnight that Ke'Sha operates on creating the squad and this will hopefully be done in the early morning of the 5th, then rest + about a day to switch spells back, so on the morning or even noon of the 6th he will be ready. Unless I got a mistake somewhere.

So Steve will have another 500 odd PSPs to spend working on another Dimension Blade gem. Nice!

To be honest I've been struggling a lot with burnout lately, among other things. I'll try to get tsomething going today
