"I'd like to think that there isn't anyone else lurking around but we didn't spot these fellas before they got the jump on us. Keep your eyes open GG." Tornak loads a small bolt into his tiny crossbow and keeps pace with GG, wide eyes almost comically rolling around trying to watch everything at once.

The group recovers a potion, red and bubbly. An empty vial, that smells of peppermint, and an amulet.

It has the same symbol as seen before.

There is also a symbol on a chain of beads in the caster's hand.

This Arcanist must have been a Sorcerer, as there is no spellbook present.

Her small dagger, with the same symbol as the token in hand, is made of a fragile looking, but incredibly hard metal.

==================================
History or Nature checks for some info on the dagger and beaded chain.

Religion or History for the Symbol on the chain.

Advantage if you are doing a group think tank.

Does anyone have guidance?

Tornak's perception roll to keep an eye out as all this is happening.

Perception(0): [1d20]=15

Tornak is torn between keeping an eye out and checking out the items that were found. If he is satisfied the immediate threat has passed, he will join the others mulling over the items.

OOC - I think we are doing a group think tank scenario here but correct me if I'm wrong. If anyone has guidance and applies it to Tornak, you'll have to add that to my rolls.

History Dagger(adv): [1d20+7]=2+7=9, [1d20+7]=1+7=8
history chain(adv): [1d20+7]=4+7=11, [1d20+7]=8+7=15
History symbol(adv): [1d20+7]=12+7=19, [1d20+7]=4+7=11
(torn attention indeed)

Flatbelly will also check the items they found. He will gladly elaborate on anything he finds and even on Nature subjects that are remotely related to what he finds (if any).

========================================================
(OOC: Flatbelly lived in the nature and is a cleric of Auril, and have Guidance.

1d20+8 (and advantage)
History dagger:
History beaded chain:
History chain symbol:

Unseen servant is down... Can you roll for me instead?
Thanks.

The group recalls from their earlier research that the symbol on the chain and the dagger are the symbol for Lloth.
Lloth, known as the Queen of Spiders as well as the Queen of the Demonweb Pits, was the most influential goddess of the drow, within the pantheon of the Dark Seldarine.

You recognize the metal as, adamantine, an alloy of adamantite, equipment made with this alloy cannot withstand sunlight.

With past experience you all think the empty bottle had a healing potion in it. And there is a very good chance the full bottle also contains a healing potion.

"No keys, ok. Back into the house, yes?" suggests GG and moves off in that direction. He adds as an afterthought, "Anyone mind if I hold onto the amulet? I'd like to study it later. The potion's healing, so one of you might be needing that. Why don't one of you keep the dagger? But keep it out of sunlight."

======
What gender was the drow sorceror?

"I don't have an issue with that. If no one wants the dagger I'll put it in my pack out of sight. I'd like to take a look at it later anyway."
Once packed away, Tornak pairs up and follows GG back upstairs, hanging back a good dozen feet with his crossbow at the ready.
