Unbar will pull his warhammer back out and follow Val. "Lead on, I'm right behind you."
If a goblin is within his walking range and warhammer range he will attack. If a goblin is within sight but not within melee range he will Toll the dead it.

Just in case rolls
Warhammer To Hit(5): [1d20+5] = 18+5 = 23 , Damage(3): [1d8+3] = 7+3 = 10

DC 12 wisdom save
Toll the dead: [1d8] = 7 , [1d12] = 4

Round 2

Val moves up to just reach the open door of the two-storey stone building. [#8] He has a good peer round and sees a twenty by forty foot kitchen with a stone fireplace set into the north wall. The northwest corner of the inn has been destroyed; a gaping hole can be seen in both ceiling and floor. There are windows in the north, west and east walls and two doors in the south wall, one five foot away and one twenty foot away. In addition to a pair of tables, one overturned, the floor is covered with broken dishware and scattered utensils. A large area of white powder surrounds the nearby south door. There’s a stuffed sack resting against the south wall about halfway between the pair of doors. Val sees no goblins.

The sturdy dwarf will pulls his warhammer back out and follows Val, "Lead on, I'm right behind you." Peering around Val’s left side. Unbar drops his weapon on the ground and casts a spell at a goblin he spots hiding next to the stone chimneystack. There’s a “Boing!” noise but with no other affect apparent to Unbar. Barely a breath later Vic catches up and peers round Val’s right sight. He cracks off a fire bolt which hits the stone chimneystack.

After a palpable pause, three goblins emerge from hiding, one from behind the overturned table, one next to the stone chimneystack and one behind the near door. They attack Val who benefits somewhat from partial cover from the back door. [AC +2] An arrow from table-goblin goes wide and breaks against the stone wall. The ugly creature turns south and scarpers out the far door. Another goblin, covered in white feathers, emerges from behind the stone chimneystack and hurls a knife at Val. It sticks in the ceiling and the goblin follows its colleague. Another feathered goblin steps out from behind the near door and successfully stabs Val with a short sword. [#3: AC21, 4 pierce] Carefully disengaging, it licks some of Val’s blood from the sword, smiles, and then prances off, just disappearing behind the same door as its kin.

Val moves in full movement if required to attack one of the goblins. Hopefully one that is not in site of the group but Val can see when he enters. Making sure not to drawn any opportunity attacks on him. If Val can move forward and attack at 10 feet distance because of reach with the halberd he will then move back so others in an attempt to not be surrounded by goblins.
attack: [1d20+5] = 3+5 = 8

Total 8 damage.

Val's polearm will just be able to reach of the rear goblin, killing it.
Unbar will need to dash move to be adjacent to the next goblin.

Unbar will pick up his warhammer and then follow Val as far as he can with regular movement. If that does not get him within range to strike a goblin, so be it.

Round 3

Val chases the goblins to the doorway. His polearm just reaches the rear goblin, cleaving its skull open.
The diminutive foe drops just as Unbar, complete with reclaimed warhammer, catches up and stands shoulder to shoulder with Val.
Last but not least Vic arrives just in time to catch sight of the remaining goblin and hurl a bolt of coruscating energy at it.
The bolt ressolves itself into electricity as it envelopes the goblin's little body which goes rigid, smokes a little and then falls over, stiff as a board.

End of Combat

Looking around from the doorway it's clear that the northern half of this floor was a large kitchen and generous pantry, now filled with rubble from something, presumably one of the mysterious rocks, that has detroyed its north-east corner. The stone fireplace in the north wall is unscathed. The kitchen floor is covered with broken dishware, scattered utensils and flour from slashed sacks. One bulging sack remains intact halfway along the kitchen's south wall.
Ground Floor.png
Looking through the the kitchen's south doorway you see the inn's open front door open even wider as Isaril steps through, bloodied scimitar in hand. "None got away," he says in elven. To the east stairs lead upwards. The remainder of this floor is a disturbed coomon room and bar. This room is strewn with wreckage. Yet another rock has punched through the roof and landed here, destroying a dining table and a pair of long benches. The remains of a bed and a wardrobe from the chamber above lie among the shattered dining room furnishings. Two smaller round tables and several chairs remain intact, and resting atop each table is an unlit oil lamp. Lying on the floor in the middle of the room is a dead goblin with a crossbow bolt sticking out of its chest.

Vic looks to Val, "One of yours?"

"Looks like we have 2 buildings left. Seems prudent to complete clearing the town, then we should be able to investigate what is going on a bit better."

"No," answers Iarail, frowning. "It's a crossbow. I use a proper bow." He looks at the stairs leading upwards. "Yours."

After appropriate translation he asks, "Who's hurt?"

This would entail gently touching Val's wound, closing his eyes. [+6HP regained & +1 tmepororary HP]

Vic will translate everything being said, unless there is a time restraint.

"This seems to be the only sign of resistance other than us."

Anything about the bolt that is interesting? Vic will pull it out to look at it.
