Kendra looks over the older woman for a moment, then back to the Baaz. "You would think that no one cared about her from the way she looks," she says. "But, you would be wrong. You're messing with my older sister."

"That is what we're here for," Arulia replies as she gestures to the darkened doorway. "Last night, that door was closed. Belzor seems to have taken his chance to get out." She looks to the rest of her companions. "Should we look inside? Maybe he's left something behind that could help us find him?"

Grubnick will take a lit torch from the wall in the hall (assuming the place is similarly lit to the guard room last night. If not, he will light one of his own) and toss it into the darkness.
[OOC: Magical darnkess?]

Haahqae, Gregeddin, Tulbas, Arulia, Gobax and Shima (Deserted Building)
Looking inside the final room reveals a large, but mostly empty room. There are two braziers in the back, unlit. There is also quite a bit of snakeskin lying around on the floor. In the far back is another giant snake statue.
It is dark, but not magically dark. The magical darkness Tulbas spoke of must have been dispelled. Gobax tosses a torch inside which illuminates the place for a few moments before the torch goes out upon hitting the floor. There is no sign of Belzor or any other living creatures, though. It would appear Arulia was right; he escaped.
Kendra Greylock (Outside the Ivy Inn)
"So?" the first baaz asks. "Why should we care?"
"Hey, isn't that the bitch who killed Tez?" asks the other, pointing at Kendra. "I hear she went on a mission with Krup and he didn't come back, either."

"Word gets around fast," Kendra says with a shake of her head. "I guess that just means I'm cursed. I wonder what that says for you two now that you've run into me."

Tulbas anger and excitement were building up as they moved forward to meet Belzor, but now that they found the place vacant he feels hollow inside. In defeated voice he says, "It seems I will never taste revenge... Not with Belzor and not with Magnusss..." The last word came as a hiss resembling Belzor's own speech. "Anyway let's search this place, Arulia might be correct, maybe there are clues of Belzor's whereabouts in this room."

Arulia shakes her head, but then speaks as she realizes that Shima's focus on the snake statue prevents him from seeing her gesture. "I don't know; the last time we were here, the door was closed. You'd be a better one to tell that kind of thing, anyway."

Shima queries, "Do these creatures shed skin such as we see here?"
Shima asks Arulia, "Do you know if this room is free of traps?"
His attention was focused on the snake statue at the far end of the room would it spring into life?
Unless someone indicates that it has already been done, Shima start to examine the doorway and floor beyond for traps.

"Well all appearances is that Belzor left the hideout rather quickly, the door being open suggests he left by foot. I can thus conclude that he might have left behind something of value, either in the form of important information he forgot to take with him or destroy, or physical, some valuable objects he didn't have time to fetch or room to carry. I suggest we search the room thuroghly, but still be careful. It appears that he doesn't have a fondness for disarming traps on his way out." Haahqae will, of course, follow his own advice and search the room.

Haahqae, Gregeddin, Tulbas, Arulia, Gobax and Shima (Deserted Building)
Haahqae and Shima begin searching the entire room for traps. They find nothing, nor does Gobax's enhanced vision reveal any. Aside from the discarded snakeskins, the statue and the unlit braziers, there is nothing else in the room.
The statue appears much like the one in the dining hall. It's amateurishly built and resembles a big cobra.
Whatever valuables may have been in this room, it would seem Belzor absconded with them.
Kendra Greylock (Outside the Ivy Inn)
The two Baaz share a look and frown. They shove the woman forward, and she practically crashes into Kendra. "Fine, whatever. You're lucky the captain said no in-fighting while she was gone."
"We can find someone cuter to interrogate anyway," says the other.
The two stalk off. The woman, meanwhile, dusts herself off and looks at Kendra. "So now what, 'sis?'" she asks.
Felran and Ne-Chanz (Una's Weaponsmithy)
Ne-Chanz opens the door and looks within the building. It's clear this is some kind of weapon smithy and shop. There are several forges, all hot, and a number of apprentices working them. One apprentice, a young teenage girl, is bandaging one of her hands awkwardly while fighting back tears.
Another woman, this one in her mid-twenties or so, with dark eyes, fair skin and short brown hair approaches the minotaur. "Need something?" she asks.
(OOC: Nope, neither Felran or Ne-Chanz have the Reading/Writing NWP.)

(OOC: So, what your saying is, unless you are proficient, ur done. I though I'd at least be able to read and write in my -own- language

Also, if it comes to smithing, I should probably suppress the urge to stick my hands in the forge. That'd be awkward for everyone.)
*Felran lets Ne-Chanz take this one while he examines the shop(?) *
(OOC: Wait... If we can't read, HOW DID I FIND THE STEEL TANKARD?!?)

I wonder if we topple that ugly statue if we might find something underneath... Grubnick muses aloud, then sets about trying to shove the poorly-carved thing over.
