Ouragana nods. "I have the money here" she says, patting on her sash so that the pouch jingles a bit. "Is there a quiet room for studies?"

Val answers, "Oh, I'd guess we are staying, we still don't have a plan. And besides, everything in town takes longer, just 'cause."

"Well, you heard the woman." he says with a knowing smile to the receptionist. "Anyway, I'd like some scrambled eggs and vegetables, and oatmeal for breakfast, and bread, juice. Oh and two slices of raw meat, and some fat for the dogs. Butter also." he says completely disorganized.

The elf leads Ouragana to a small study room where she can attempt to copy the spells to her spellbook in peace and quiet.

Baeros and Val (Reception Room, Queen of Harts 1F)
A server is summoned to retrieve Baeros' rather large order for breakfast. "And will you be having anything?" he asks the half-orc.

"Fruit and raw tuna please. And a pitcher of water too." Val orders. "So, what are you going looking for today?" she queries Baeros

"Thank you" Ouragana says with a smile and settles down with her spellbook, ink and quill. She finds it easy to copy the spells, and is relieved because her choice of defensive spells seems to be good for her. In the quiet of the room, she also commits "Featherfall" to memory again.

"This and that." he answers Val. "I would buy a backpack and maybe few bigger pouches. Bedroll. Food. Sharpen my weapons, fill the arrow quiver and I thought to buy some healing potions. They proved really useful during our journey in the jungle." he says and sadness appears in his eyes as he remembers Thunder's death. "Oh, and maybe we can go to the magic shop and see if they have something that might help us."

Ouragana spends the next hour quietly copying the spells to her spellbook successfully. She then takes a bit more time to re-memorize Featherfall.

Baeros and Val (Reception Room, Queen of Harts 1F)
The server brings them their food and the two enjoy a nice breakfast. After an hour has passed, the food and drink are gone but there is still no sign of any of the rest of the party.

Ouragana thanks the elf, then asks: "Tell me, there is a lot of comfort in this city due to magic. Surely, there must be mages working to keep everything running?"

Baeros feeds the dogs with the meat and enjoys his breakfast. Finishing it and waiting afterwards for few minutes, Baeros looks at Val and raises his brows, "Do you think they left without us? Did we agree on meeting here?"

"That's correct," Azerath says. "We here at the Thundergulls guild are the sole provider of all of the magical enhancements to the city, as per a deal we have with the governor."

Val answers. "Let's go to the harbor, I want to see if Mist made it yet. We can come back soon."

"Sure, Takit and Hopper would like to chase some seagulls." Baeros smiles and stands up.

Baeros and Val head down to the harbor, the two dogs in tow.

It's a pleasant overcast day. It's beginning to warm up already, but at least it's not sweltering and assuming the clouds don't disperse, hopefully it won't get too hot today. Plus, there's a nice sea breeze, especially near the harbor.

The whole area smells strongly of fish and sea water. Up above, seagulls squawk at each other while fighting over whatever scraps of food they can find dropped on the ground.

The harbor is, of course, full of ships. There are ships of all kinds docked here, including but not limited to caravels, sohars, cogs and cargo ships. These ships fly flags from just about every island in the sea, as well. Longshoremen and sailors of various races and backgrounds load and unload cargo from these ships.

"I have an errand that brings me out of town, but in time, I think I would like to join in this nice city's magical upkeep group. Do you think that would be possible?" Ouragna asks Azerath.
