"Sounds like a whole group, probably of the draconians I saw the traces of" Babushka says matter-of-factly. "I think I am the quietest, I should go inviestigate."

(Is Jerrard's Armor spell still active?)

"Be careful, Babushka," Imani says softly.

"I promise" Baushka answers, her face serious despite her smile.
Using all cover she can get, Babushka approaches the source of the noise.

Babushka quietly and slowly moves toward the noise, which grows louder (but no more comprehensible) as she gets closer.

After about seventy-five feet, she eventually comes to a clearing. The clearing is 100 feet in diameter, with all vegetation cleared away or scorched black. In the center of the clearing is an altar with four robed draconians bowing before it, chanting; their backs to Babushka. The altar consists of a dragon statue made of rocks and trees tied together. A circle of bones surrounds the altar. Numerous gems decorate the grotesque draconian image.

The draconians do, indeed, look different from the Baaz she has faced in the past. They are a bit larger, with bronze-colored scales instead of brassy ones; their wings are larger and more pronounced, as well.

Very quietly, Babushka goes back to where she left the group.
"There are draconians indeed, but bronze ones with larger wings. Four of them worship at an altar. I would suggest that we stay away from them as far as we can, to avoid trouble."

"I'm with you on that, we have had enough delays, and one that would kill is us worth avoiding even more." Jerrard says, moving backwards, "Strange they are being so loud, why would they draw attention to themselves?" He asks.

"I don't think they expect anyone coming here" Babushka says. "This is a lonely forest, after all."

"Do you think they might have had something to do with Malika's and the animals' disappearance?" wonders Ulster.

"Honestly, I would be very surprised if whoever took Malika and the animals went in the same direction as we did. The forest is vast, and it would be a very strange coincidence to find them here." Babushka shakes her head.

"So would I, to be honest." Jerrard says with a sigh, "I think we may have lost her, and I fear the mounts." He wraps an arm around Babuskha. "I wish we could."

(Would Jerrard know about the different types of draconians? He was a solider after all..)

"What do you think they're doing here, way out in the forest? Some kind of ritual?" Ulster asks.

"Maybe they're trying to re-corrupt the forest or something," Thuskar speculates. He shrugs. "Whatever it is, it can't be good."

(OOC: He never fought in any wars, though. Although I suppose as a academic, he might have read up on the different types.)

"Funny, I guess they set up a shrine here? I suppose its far away from anywhere..." Locky moves away from the clearing, a little disappointed.

"In some way we should do something about it."

"I'm not so sure we should just avoid this," Imani says. "Who knows what they could be doing over there, but they are distracted from my understanding. If done right, we might be able to take them by surprise, especially if they are magic users. Though, we also have to worry about their death. What do they do when they die?"

Babushka shakes her head. "We have not caught them in any wrongdoing. In principle, they have a right to live as they please as much as we have. The forest is large, there might be room for us all. What I fear is that if we kill them - which we could, I'm sure - , we'll have the band they belong to hot on our heels and be doomed. I really would prefer that we go our way."
