"She is a Bounty Hunter." Arei answers softly, "I am sorry to bring this up, I am sure it was a traumatic experience, but where they left in a position? A pose?" She asks carefully, shifting on a one foot.

The miller shakes his head. "Just left on the ground, flat on their backs, their chests cut open." He gives another little shudder.

Ouragana's head shoots up. "Were there signs of a struggle? Like dirt kicked up around the bodies?
Look, I'm sorry to trouble you with all this, but if we can help finding the people responsible, this will stop."

"That sounds quite awful, I am sorry, it must have unnerved you." Arei says calmly, "Thank you for sharing, as my friend says, anything you might know may help."

"I don't really recall," Brogain says. "I suppose they were a little dirty, but they were mostly just bloody. I wasn't exactly in the mindset to start memorizing little details at the time," he admits.

"As to be expected. Thank you Brogain, you have been most helpful." Arei gives him a sweet smile, "We may come back, would that be alright?"

Brogain shrugs. "As long as you don't make a mess of things, I don't mind."

"I promise." Arei smiles again.

"Kiwi please, and whatever the lady chooses." He says to brock.
Dahn ponders for a moment before asking "What about people she talks to, on a regular basis, see anyone like that ever?"

"So was that about it, then?" Jocelyn asks. "It doesn't seem like there is much here to look at except some dried up blood."

Resisting the urge to suggest that the young cleric didn't have to come, Arei shrugs.

"Ignore her, she is grumpy. Would you like to join me for a drink later, to say thank you?" she asks the Miller.

Brock brings them their juices.

Pearl shrugs in answer to his question. "I haven't really seen her talk to anyone much. Well, there was another elf, a woman, who she talked to quite a bit earlier today. But beyond that, she seems to keep to herself."

"Thank you, but no...my wife would likely not approve of that," Brogain explains.

Dahn spends 1 silver on the drinks.

"Invite her along, I mean nothing untoward." Arei winks, shaking his hands in thanks. "One last thought, this is a small town, I assume you knew the victims?"

"There are over a thousand souls here, I can't claim to know them all. No, I didn't know any of the victims," Brogain says.

"Oh of course, I come from a much smaller place, everyone knows everyone else." She replies, cursing her stupidity inwardly.
