OK, so do I get you right?

- Vee and Geraldine stay in the area, checking that the gnolls truly return to the old mansion
- everybody else returns to the village inn, deep in discussion

Do we need to play this out, or can we fast forward to the evening, when Brax and Echo go to have dinner with Linton Bronzemmon? What does the rest of the group do? Do you want to discuss first, give the women advice on what topics to discuss with the councilman?

"I know of priests like that, I was one, my family were too." Brax lowers her head in shame. "I am here to aid those less fortunate than myself, nothing more."

(I am happy to move on, this talk will go on for sometime between Brax and Searos!)

(I'm cool with moving on too, but I think the conversation between Brax and Searos should at least come to some sort of conclusion before moving on).

Searos waves off Brax. "Sure you are Bright Eyes. Every priest starts out like you. We'll see what time has to say about that though."

(I'm good with moving on. I have a feeling Searos and Brax will be engaged is a rather circular discussion.)

(OOC: No, the gnolls understand only their own language and a few simple words of Common they picked up, and only Amon speaks gnollish)

(OOC: Looks like Martin will have to get on Amon's good side. And I'm all for moving on if everyone else is, as well.)

(ooc: Robbo has not signed in for a week, and Stik has not given his opinion on moving on, but I think we should)

Geraldine and Vee follow the gnolls at some distance, who indeed make their way to the old mansion. They try to keep in the shade, their heads lowered, seemingly they want to avoid the sunshine. "Tell me, which country are you from? What made you leave, if I may ask?" Geraldine asks Vee, in the tone of a young woman trying to make friends.

Brax and Searos walk next to each other, continuing their discussion, followed by the rest of the group. They arrive back at the inn in mid-afternoon, when it is mostly empty, the locals being at their respective tasks. Kim sits in a corner, reading a book, and, looks up as they enter. "Mage Amon? Your father has been here, he asks you to come home, he has something interesting to tell you."


(ooc: what does everybody plan to do in the afternoon and evening? we should probably go back to the private threads.
A quick heads-up: Luna and I will be away from Tuesday to Friday next week, with no internet access)

Searos plans to head down to the docks and talk to the fishermen. He plans on finding out if anybody down there knows anything about the smuggling operation or if they've noticed any of their colleagues with a little too much walking around money recently. He plans to use finesse.

Gunter announces that he's going to spend the afternoon in the countryside/forested area near town doing some hunting, herb gathering and relaxing.

"Very well," Amon says. "Thank you for delivering his message, Mage Kim. I will see him at once." Turning, he heads back outside, this time toward his home.

Brax will look to see if she can get a new dress, nothing too fancy but something more suited to a Cleric. Plus she'll try to get a bath and wash her clothes.

Echo will most likely freshen up a little before joining Brax on her little dinner date with Linton.
