Jerry looks around for Mira or any of the prospective herb hunters.
If none in view, she smiles and says, "Plan B it is then," and, taking Merrick's arm, gently maneuvers him upstairs to their room.

Jerry doesn't spot anyone else in the common room that she has met, so she leads Merrick upstairs. Plan B?

She raises her eyebrows suggestively and smiles.

His eyes open wide and he stammers without speaking as she draws him into her room.

Cut to an hour later?

<Insert bow-chicka bow-wow here>
[Roughly an hour later...]

"That was nice. Seems that we fit well together, you and I," comments Jerry as she combs the tangles from her hair and then cleans herself up with a couple of cantrips.

"What did you have in mind next? If nothing in particular, perhaps there's time to research the crown that I told you I dreamt about?"

Jerry gets herself cleaned up with a cantrip as Merrick gets himself in order as well. Happy to oblige, m'lady. he says with a goofy grin. When she asks about the crown, he replies, We could check at the Scale or the Toad, your choice.

The couple head to the Silver Scale. A brief conversation with Serath reveals no information on the crown, or any other. It is doubtful Rautant would have anything either. We both keep lists of what subjects the other has... well, to a reasonable degree anyway. Where did you hear of it? Serath inquiries.

Jerry looks at Merrick questioningly to see if she should talk freely.
If he indicates 'yes', she replies, "In a dream that I believe was sent to me by my goddess, Mystra. It is possible that the crown is not a physical crown per se. It may be a metaphor."

Merrick shrugs and nods as if to say, "Serath is trustworthy, but it's obviously your choice what to reveal."

A dream... the older half-elf muses. Dreams can be powerful omens... or dangerous misleadings... When did you have this dream? I am only marginally skilled at interpreting them, but in what way was the crown indicated?

Jerry shares with him what she can remember.
