Drav grabs his grappling hook and the party sets out again, hoping to find a spot closer to the mansion.

(OOC: Where should Drav go in the marching order? Also, where is the party going? Here is the current map of the island. Remember that hex 6 is where the troll cave is and hex 11 is where they are now. The 'm' is the location of the mansion.)

(OOC: I got very confuzzled with directions during my story, I thought we were to the east of my cave, so...)

"Finally, we can go look at this mansion." Drav says.

Jocelyn shrugs a little bit. "Well, lead the way to the mansion then," she says.

Baeros follows few steps behind Drav as Drav knows the area and the way to the mansion better than anyone. Being offloaded of the responsibility to find there way Baeros exploits the easy march to look at the jungle vegetation and animals. If he sees anything new or special he shows it to the others explaining the differences between the local species and those he knows.

~We must have made quite a detour~ Ouragana thinks to herself as she continues mapping. ~We could almost have arrived at the mansion by now if we had cut south right after the most rugged part of the mountains.~ But she says nothing, since she had accepted Drav leading them. However, she pays more attention to alternative routes, since she is now suspicious.

"Baeros" Gallath calls out to him. "Don't you think I would have a better chance of scouting without being detected?"

"You said you beat two trolls, but I saw a troll come by before you all found me." Drav says to Gallath, "I thought it was just a troll passing by, but it must have been from you?"

"Yes, we injured it, but it ran before we could finish it off.

Baeros doesn't even look at Gallath when he answers, "No. You stay behind and guard Val. After we camp you may join us scouting."

Drav leads the party back where they came, pretty close to the where the troll lair is (hex 8). He then takes them south from there for awhile, to a large lake. On the other side of the lake, the mansion is visible. He then takes them a bit west, to where a mountain stream is emptying into the lake. All of this takes another couple of hours, making it late afternoon now.

"There it is," Thaddeus remarks. "Hard to believe it's still standing after 300 years of neglect. But they built things better in those days."

Jocelyn looks around the area. "Is this a safe place to make camp?" she asked.

Baeros looks around and says, "It is as best as we can get. And we can catch fish and get fresh water from the lake."

Drab looks over to Jocelyn, "Well, I doubt any hellhounds will try and cross this stream."

(OOC: Hellhound jumps in water, *Lots of steam*, Solid stone hellhound."

Val continues to stagger along, looking forward to getting some rest. She keeps a tight grip on the vial she is holding, just in case.

"Can we eat and sleep soon?" She asks.

OOC:Sorry for the delay, been busy getting some seed in the ground.

As they make camp, Ouragana packs away her mapping equipment. Later, she approaches Drav. "Have you explored all of the island?" she asks him.
