"Remember," Imani states as she climbs up on her horse. "They said that we need to run past the guards at the exits," she said. "So everyone mount up, and let's get out of here." She tenderly pats her horse on the neck, as she had missed her a bit.

"I will do so if you insist" Babushka answers as she mounts Dekker. "But shouldn't we help the kirath by killing the guards if they're draconians?"

"I think perhaps a distraction on the way out would be best." Jerrard brushes his finger over the Shooting star ring in his pouch. "Its the least we can do."

Motioning to Lanae he offers Malika a leg up. "My lady."

"I'll take the ponies then." Locky comments, resuming her old position.

Those who have mounts, mount up. However, Ulster, Thuskar, and Malika don't have any mounts to ride.

(OOC: The combined weight of Jerrard, Malika, and their respective gear would be over 424 pounds. A riding horse's maximum weight capacity is 360 pounds. So unless Jerrard can find a way for them to shed 65 pounds, they cannot ride Lanae together.)

Jerrard was offering the horse to her, not to ride himself.

"It seems we don't have much of a choice as the rest of us don't have mounts," Imani says. "We are most likely going to have to fight the guards at the gate."

Babushka nods. "I just hope they are draconians, not real elves."
She does not mount Dekker, since she doesn not know how to fight while mounted.

Malika mounts Lanae, leaving Jerrard on foot with Ulster and Thuskar. The party travels to the northern gate, where two elven guards stand. However, the guards stand outside of the gate, looking outward. This means if the party is quiet, they might be able to surprise them, since they are coming from inside the village.

Locky curses the armor silently and keeps to the back, she had no way to heal the party, so she hoped they were elves.

(Did Jerrard cast Armor on Malika? I forget... if he didnt he does that.)

Staying by the horse he motions to Imani, "Knock them out if you can, if they are draconians.." he shakes his head. "We will need to be swift."

(OOC: Jerrard casts Armor on Malika, granting her 6 more points of armor class.)

"Should I try to take them out with my staff?" Babushka whispers to Imani.

Imani dismounts from her horse, giving a nod to Babushka. "Everyone else be ready if this doesn't work," she whispers before she slowly sneaks up on one of the guards in hopes of knocking the elf/draconian out with the hilt of her blade.

(OOC: I'm not sure on the rules on this one here, so I'll let you do the rolls.)

(OOC: checking the PHB, I see that the staff is not a good choice for a non-lethal attack. So Babushka will use the flat of the longtooth dagger instead)
