"I'm not going to put on a full fledged funeral for him. This man tried to kill me," Jocelyn said before she looked up to Val. "Can you and Baeros take the body to the other side of the church. I'm going to get some cloth to wrap him up in, and then we can take him down to the beach for the rest of the ceremony."

"Finally..." Baeros says impatiently. "The body doesn't get any lighter, you know... Val, please grab Thunder by the reins and lets get rid of the body already." Baeros places the saddlebags again on Thunder, and starts to move towards the Temple backyard, body on the shoulder.

"You all know a lot about pirates... And assassins for that matter..." Tulbas says without addressing anyone in particular. 'Maybe even too much... What's wrong with you people?' he growls...

"Ok, sounds like a plan." Val grabs Thunders reins and follows, making sure Jocelyn is in sight.

"I know my way about ship, and I've been known to frequent less savory vessels." Arei comments with a grin, "Not that its any of your business."

"We need to explain why they are after her." She adds nudging Oura with her elbow.

"Yep, It's not my business, yet nice of you to explain anyway..." Baeros grins while going to the backyard. As soon as he arrives he drops the assassin on the ground and addresses the Pastor, "Jocelyn, please focus for a moment. What do you want to do with the body?"

"I've all ready told you what we were going to do with the body," Jocelyn says to the newcomer. "Val and you are going to take the body to the back, we are going to wrap him in cloth, and then set him off to sea," she explains before looking to Arei and Oura. "You don't need to tell them my life story to learn about this man. Just state that he tried to kill him, and then go from there."

Baeros practically looks around, takes the cloth offered by Jocelyn and quickly starts to wrap the body, asking Val's and Jocelyn's help here and there. Once done, he loads the body on Thunder's back and says, "Shall we go to the shore then? Or would you like to say something or offer a prayer?"

"I had no plans to share your history with anyone." She grins, "I''ll get in, don't you worry." With that she heads to the inn, "Oh, and can we go to see Andar later? Please?" With that she leaves

"Wait" Ouragana tells Arei, then turns to Jocelyn. "I don't think the inn owner will trust us two strangers when we tell her one of her customers tired to murder the local priest and we want to find out things about him and see his room. Do you have something from you to show her, so she knows we speak in your name?"

"Take my ward with you," Jocelyn says. "She can confirm the story, but I need to go with Val and Baeros. I need to at least say a few words over the man before he is released."

"I thought you will be long off by now, but since you are STILL here, let's go together to the shore and then to the inn. I need to find a place to settle down until we decide our next steps anyway, and probably the innkeeper would want to ask Jocelyn some questions directly." Baeros says to Areilon and Ouragana. "Besides, the assassin friends might be in the inn... wouldn't you want your capable warrior with you?" Baeros gestures at Val and grins.

Ouragana nods. "That's probably the best plan."

Arei shrugs, "I will meet you all at the inn, I do not wish to share the funeral." she says glaring at the man. With that she turns and heads to the inn.

Jocelyn leads the rest of the group down to the shore now that everything seems to be complete. She brings a torch a long, as well, so that she can set the body on fire. Along the way, she manages to buy a very small boat for the body.

Once at the shore, she motions for the two carrying the body to put it in the boat, and push it out into the water. She holds the torch in her hands, so she moves beside the boat. "May Octhanus have mercy upon you," she says softly before she sets the body on fire and pushes the boat out to sea. She didn't know the man, he tried to kill her, and as far as she knew no one else knew him, so there was no reason to stand on a lot of ceremony.

Ouragana stands in respectful silence as Jocelyn performs the ritual. When it is over, she asks: "So, do we go to the inn and try to find out if anyone knew anything about this man? Besides, I guess we all could use something eat and drink by now."
