Thelma grins openly, "Let's go look." She nudges Eloise in reply. "We can take care of it from this side," she tells her friend.

Thelma moves up behind Eloise with her weapon drawn as quietly as possibly. She gives Eloise a five foot lead ahead of her while moving.

Where exactly do the girls go, and what do they look at?

With Thelma spuring her on, Eloise moves to the main door, little dagger in her hand keeping low she moves up to the door and watches to make sure its safe. If it is, she will move into the building, looking for a place to hide.

(Do the guys trust that the girls will come back and tell them what they found, or has someone watched where they're going?)

There is no one in sight anywhere. There is no lock on the door, but it looks heavy, perhaps too heavy for her to pull open alone, especially since there is no handle. She would have to squeeze her dagger into the gap between the wings of the double door to open the right wing, and it would work only if the door isn't bolted from the inside.

"Should we tell the men?" She asks, pushing the big door in vain. "I'm not strong enough to open it." She adds with a sigh, "Perhaps we should check this next?"

"Let's let them know at least, we should give them the choice.", Thelma tells Eloise with a nod of her head, "We can't really force it open ourselves."

Observing them leave, Dale watches them go as far as his line of sight allows. He stays with the main group, however.

Dale can see Eloise getting distracted from her chosen task of investigating what is going on in the building with the smoking chimney, but checking out the largest and most elaborate building of the courtyard, followed by Thelma. The girls look into the windows and seem to try to open the doors.
It's not very interesting to watch them doing that, and soon Dale's idle gaze is caught by something else. At the height of the second stories, a bridge connects the luxurious building and the old keep, with a framework pillar in the middle between the two. Unlike most bridges he has seen so far, this pillar is more slender towards the top instead of broadening out to support the walkway.

"I guess the men have a use afterall." She giggles, "Shall we move on for now? Check the smoke?"

"You are finished? Good. Then keep watch on the buildings, if you will. I have a vision of us asking after the lady brewer at this building and her being carried out another door while we talk.
"And try to stay out of trouble."
Christopher continues toward the building ahead. Once there he will rap on the door with his mailed hand, twice, and loudly.

(We haven't come back yet!)

Christopher raps on the door of building #8, right? The one that eloise and Themla went to?
The girls have indeed not yet come back, but Dale watched them and Christopher can have chosen to join them.

Where are Saul and Matthias? does anyone proceed to building #9 where the smoke comes from, or do they ignore it for the time being?

[OOC] My fault. I took "shall we go check out the smoke" to mean that they had come back. The smoke is coming from #9. That is where Christopher is headed.[/OOC]
