"We are coming!" Babushka shouts and moves over to the men. She attacks Baaz #2 with her longtooth dagger, hitting AC 2 for 3 damage.

(Page 98 of my PHB says that after moving half the distance of a her base move, she can still make one melee attack. Baaz 2 is 30 yards away, her base move is 60, so I assume it works)

(OOC: In the PHB, chapter 9, page 96 under 'Movement in Combat' it states:

"In a combat round, a being can move up to 10 times its movement rate in feet. Thus, if a character has a movement rating of 9, he can move up to 90 feet in a round."

However, a character can move 10 times their movement rate in yards during normal cross-country travel. I think that's where you got confused. Movement rates are based on feet in dungeons and in combat, but in yards otherwise.)

"Leave the horses, come with me." Dressed in her armor Locky runs softly towards the sounds of the battle, ushering Malika along if she has to.

"But what if something attacks the horses?" Malika says, rooting herself to the ground. "We should stay here and guard them."

Jerrad winces in pain, nearly dropping his blade, he tries to strike twice but misses.

Miss and miss

"We need to help them, they might be hurt." Locky answers, she didnt trust the woman alone, "Please."

Imani turns to go help the men. Her eyes move to Thuskar and Ulster for a moment. It is clear from the look on her face that she's worried.

"Help him. Where in the name of the Gods is Locky." Jerrard comments as Imani gets closer.

Grunting with the pain of the unrelenting attacks, Jeremy grits his teeth and attacks numba 3.

Since it is clear that she has no chance to attack any of the remaining baaz this round, Babushka picks up her bow and any re-usable arrows before hurrying over to the men.

Malika shakes her head. "I don't think that's a good idea. If we lose the horses, we could be stuck here forever."

Babushka had fired off four arrows. Two missed, and flew off into the woods. One was destroyed on impact. That left one remaining. She grabs it and her bow and hurries forward, Imani right beside her. The human's longer legs allow her to get much closer to the action, though.

Jeremy blocks another sword slash, but then his opponent starts backing away, looking for a chance to sprint. Not about to let him escape, despite being severely wounded, the woodsman pursues and stabs the draconian one last time. The creature turns to stone, but traps the short sword within its body.

The unknown figure in white tries to fire more arrows, but his bowstring suddenly snaps.

The last Baaz standing that's not dead or paralyzed slashes Jerrard with his claw, then backs away. The wizard follows, trying twice to finish it, but the Baaz is determined to block and parry everything thrown at him. This becomes evident when Thuskar joins Jerrard, only to have his sword knocked out of his hands.

Unknown fires (+1) a sheaf arrow from his short bow (+4) at Baaz 03 (1d20+5): 6, critical fumble! The bowstring snaps.
Jeremy pursues Baaz 03 30 feet and then attacks with his short sword (1d20): 15, hit for (1d6): 5 damage.
----Jeremy makes a DEX check with a -3 penalty (1d20): 17, fail. His short sword is stuck.
Baaz 02 attacks Jerrard with his claws (1d20): 19, hit for (1d4): 4 damage then withdraws 30 feet.

Thuskar moves 15 feet north and attacks (+1) Baaz 02 with his great sword (+1) (1d20+2): 3, critical fumble! Thuskar drops his weapon.

Thuskar picks up his fallen sword.

Taking Malikas hand Locky moves towards the group, hoping the horses will be safe.

Jerrard moves to block the departing creature, trying to give Thuskar a chance to recover his sword.
