"He has a point. I've heard sailors tales of sirens and they are known to lure you to your death like Vee says. How do we know this guy isn't part of the setup? Maybe we should take him back to town."

"It's a long way back to town," Amon points out. "Then again, we should prioritize Henry's safety. But if we leave now, the trail may go cold and we might never find the others."

"The others are either food or thralls for whatever that green haired thing is down there."

Henry looks at Brax. "It's OK, Miss. If you don't mind, I'll stay here until you come back and have decided what to do".

The group soon arrives at a fork, one path leads further down the cliff, below the high water mark, and possibly towards the rock the figure sits on. The other one remains level, and it seems to follow the curve of the bay at above the high water mark. If they take this path, they will probably arrive at a point where they can see more clearly what the creature on the rock is.

"Very well." Brax bows to Henry and heads off with the others, she keeps back, but keeps her eyes on Searos and Gunter, if this could lure one to its death, the thief was the most likely target. "Shall we?" She asks.

Searos runs a gloved hand through his hair making a disgusted sound and then waves everyone forward. "yes, by all means, lets go happily marching to our doom leaving some "harmless" soul at our backs. what could be better?"

Searos begins to shoo everyone forward while keeping one eye behind the group, checking over his shoulder constantly.

"I will watch him, don't you worry Master Searos." Brax comments, "I have the best eyes to do so."

Do you take the upper or the lower path?

Wel, if we're going to go see what this thing is, we should probably go with the lower road, eh?

Brax will take the upper road, to take a look around the area.
"I am going up for a moment, you go down."

Who joins Gunter, who joins Brax?

Gunter shakes his head, "I think it would be best to not split up the group again. Have you forgotten so quickly our chat at the Inn a few nights ago about what happened at the manor house? One way or the other, but I think we should all go together."

"Indeed, see, why I need some reminders." Brax bows to Gunter. "Thank you for that."

(That was intentional, a way of showing she is still learning)

Gunter laughs and claps her on the back.

"Don't worry, we're all learning here. You're right though, it might be wise to get an overview of the area before continuing on. Amon?"

"If you think that best," Amon says.
