Tas looks where Flint suggests and wonders if they are seeing things. He checks his own weapon and says in a low voice. "I bet they know lots of stuff if they are hiding here."

Responding to the actions of the others, Riverwind also shrugs his bow off of his shoulder and pulls one of his few remaining arrows from the quiver. Hearing Goldmoon's question, he doesn't wait for an answer, but does provide rear guard since there are enough eyes on the water fall.

He reaches for Goldmoon's elbow, and gently turns her around with him. In a low voice says "Yes, let's do that. There are enough working the front."

"Only one.." Staying still when the others move she takes Riverwind and Goldmoon to one side, "Watch behind, we might be followed. I will help also."

"Tanis, we should move, being in the open here makes us a target." Sturm ushers the group along, tapping Laurana's back to get her to move. "Whoever it is, we will be ready for them."

He looks behind, "Where are those draconian creatures? They must know we are here." He mutters to himself while he walks.

"Right," Tanis says, tensely. "Let's go."

When the party gets closer, the being hiding suddenly leaps out and charges, armed with nothing but her fists. It's a human woman braided blonde hair, covered in filth, and wearing deerskins similar to Riverwind's and Goldmoon's.

Tanis stands, mouth agape, having not expected this at all as she rushes toward them.

Caramon steps away from Raistlin's side, moving forward to intercept the woman.... "Calm down miss. We don't want to hurt you." If she continues charging, Caramon will attempt to restrain her... "Riverwind? Goldmoon? Is she from your tribe?"

Goldmoon turns her head to look at the woman, too, but quickly remembers they were to be rear guards and lets Riverwind handle the situation. She looks back to where they came from, watching out for draconians.

Sturm retains his position, choosing to allow Tanis and the others to deal with this young woman, had she escaped Que shu? Possibly.

He keeps up his guard and checks for creatures behind them.

"Is she of your people?" Laurana asks with compassion, she moves near Tanis and raises her hand. "We do not wish to hurt you."

Caramon almost gets a hold of the hysterical woman, but she just narrowly evades him, spinning on her heel, she practically crashes into Riverwind. She whirls to face him, but when he speaks to her in his native tongue, she freezes, her brown eyes as wide as saucers.

"Y-You are Que-Shu?" she asks in the same language, her surprise momentarily overwhelming her fear.

==========

(OOC: Only Riverwind, Goldmoon, Sturm and Raistlin can speak the language of Plainsfolk, just to note.)

Riverwind reaches out to clasp the woman in the way of their people, adding in his native tongue, "I am Que-Shu, as is Goldmoon." He steps slightly aside to indicate his beloved.

"More not cousins." Tas says in a low voice and grins as he waves to the woman with a kindly face. He looks around the place for the mean dragon men, though. If she is hiding, there is danger of discovery at this point. Not understanding the words, he only judges by the clothes and apperance of the girl.

Goldmoon walks up to Riverwind and the Que-Shu woman.

As she passes Sturm, she quickly lays a hand on his arm. "You'll watch the rear now, won't you?" she smiles at him.

She then clasps the woman as well, holding her tight to comfort her. "Yes, we are Que-Shu as well" she says in their native tongue. "How did you get here? If you speak common, please let us use that language, so everybody here can understand."

The woman stares blankly at Riverwind. "Goldmoon?"

When Goldmoon makes herself known, she looks at her in complete shock. "You...you are Chieftain's Daughter!" Her body twitches, as if she's unsure how to react. "But you vanished into thin air. You both did."

Steadying herself, she takes a big gulp of air. "I...I am Sunstar of the Que-Shu. Or...what is left of us."
