Vee feels like she wears not a armor, it was so heavy like it was stone made. Ok, she have never weard a other armor then her leather because it was to expensive, but she havent think it would be so different from a leather armor. In the Kithen again she looks out for her QuaterstaffIt must lie here somewhere...

Strangely, as Vee adjusts to the weight she starts to forget its there, almost as if the weight isn't there.

"Hey Kim! Isn't that my Quaterstaff there in Your hands?!"

"It is indeed, Miss Veelayana. I kept it safe for you." There seems to be an ever so slight smile playing around Kim's lips as the staff is handed back.

Amon and Dogmeat follow the others back upstairs. "Nothing down there but a now armorless corpse," he says to Echo. "Let's continue. Where have we not been yet?"

"I believe we have yet to investigate the end of the corridor." Brax responds, walking into the hall, meeting with Searos and Gunter.

Turning back around, Echo follows the others back into the hallway. "There wasn't anything in that room that was worth interest," Echo says evenly.

"Nor any phenomena like the ones we encountered in the hallway?" Kim asks Echo. "And what about the room you went in, Amon? Anything strange happening there?"

And yes, I think we should continue down the hallway"

Amon shakes his head. "Just more illusions. Powerful ones, at that. Whoever cast them is very proficient in magic, indeed."

"Is? Or was? Do you think the caster must still be alive, or do the illusions persist after his death?"

Do you know if illusions persist, or do they have to be re-cast once they were triggered?"

Searos shakes his head a bit at the back of the group.

"Mages... even when they die you still have to deal with them... I like it when things are simple... At least, in so much as things are ever simple. I saw a dead guy sit up once. Ended up beating on him a bit because I was worried he was a zombie. I'll be honest, I kinda felt bad about messing up his corpse a bit. Of course, he had fantastic boots and they fetched a good price. Ah, but that was a wonderful meal..."

He now looks off into the distance, fondly remembering the event.

Walking along the corridor the party come to a large open room, obviously the entrance hall, once it would have been well decorated. On either side of the corridor opening the walls are bare but some pieces of wood in the corner near the window indicate that a small wooden table or chair once stood there.

Light streams in through the broken windows making interesting and strange criss-cross pat

A huge chandelier sits in the middle of the room, its broken glass covering the floor.

To the left sits a staircase to the next level, the old timbers look safe enough, although the rail is broken in numerous locations. The balcony encircles the entrance hall,

To your right a corridor leads into the west wing of the house, below the stairs lies a single door and a corridor to the east.

“Interesting.” Brax murmurs, “I wonder, is any of this an illusion also?”

"Not my area of expertise by any means," Amon admits. "But I think illusions can be persistent. But that would require very powerful magic."

When they reach the big living room, he looks around carefully. "It appears we have some more rooms to explore. Which shall we choose first?"

"Indeed we do, perhaps we should stay together this time?" Brax responds, "You say these could be fixed Illusions, cast by a powerful caster.."

Eying Echo for a moment she turns to look Amon up and down, almost as if she is assessing him.

"I do not like the look of those stairs.." She comments turning around, treading on some of the broken glass, her black boots causing it to crunch with her steps.

"Yes," Amon agrees, not noticing Brax's examination of him. "We may want to tread carefully there. But for now, I say we start with the western hall first."
