"Look, I've learned to trust instincts, whether my own or my fellow warriors. If you think there is something there, I'll double my attention. We shall wait to hear from the scouts." Galanis says trying to scan their surrounding for any danger.

"The road has not been easy." The tall warrior admits with a lowering of her head. "It has affected my outlook somewhat."

"We haven't got anything those monsters want any more," says Papa. "Although there's something I'd like to give them."

"Haven't we?" Angel asks with a hint of curiosity, "Can you sense anything following us, or with us?" She asks looking at the wagon for a moment.

"Well, we are as prepared s we can get. No reason to lower our morale by uncertainties. Once we see a problem materialize we will deal with it." Galanis encourages.

"They got their corpse back. And killed that mage for trying to defend it." Papa leans left in his saddle and spits after saying that, then stands in the stirrups and settles back down centered as his horse walks on, puzzled by its rider's odd behavior. "I can not imagine what else they would want of us."

"Imagine if there was something else, something we don't know about yet." Angel ponders leaning into the pommel of her saddle. "But perhaps I'm being foolish."

"Then we get a second chance at them." Papa says, grimly.

"Second chance for you, first for Calah and myself. Hope that will make the difference." Galanis says cheerfully.

Calah returns to the group. Catching the tail end of Galanis's comment, which was partly about her, she says, "I thought I heard some ringing in my ears."

"We were discussing our situation, an expected occurrence considering..." Angel responds her eyes on the road ahead. "I assume by your manner the way is safe?" She motions to the wagon. "Nothing to report?" Frowning her abrupt tone is directed at Calah...

"Apologies, this situation worries me.."

Calah says, "The way was safe as of our passage out and my return here. It would be a reasonable assumption that it remains so for the time being. As for that which is worthy of report, there is a homestead a ways ahead. The others are discussing the particulars of our arrival and potential stay. Bedding, vittles, that sort of thing. The residents seem personable enough. I'd recommend joining the conversation, lest dinner be overcooked for your tastes or some such if you don't insert your say before all is settled. If I have left out any details you feel are relevant, feel free to ask directly."

"The mad woodsman said the way station was a safe place, with good food," says Bastian. "I just wonder if there is a bar."

Angel purses her lips for a moment, she wasn't sure that the commentary was needed, instead she nods softly and pulls lightly on Praesuls reins.

"Thank you, then it is safe to enter the camp." Motioning to the wagon she adds. "Calah you have point."

"A bar? Do you only ever think of drink?" She asks with some amusement. "You are quite amusing. Regardless, let us move." She moves the wagon forward to the camp.

Galanis thinks of the bar and what can be found there besides drinks, smiles to himself and moves on.
