Argis uses his foot to push out a chair for her. It scrapes against the floor audibly. "Have a seat," he says with a grin.

"Thanks," Echo says as she takes a seat. "So what are you three conspiring about?" she asks.

"World domination," Hollidan says casually.

"Actually, we were shooting the breeze," Argis says. "Nothing serious, really."

"Oh," Echo says, looking a little disappointed. "I liked the idea of world domination too," she says. "Of course, it makes me wonder on how a bunch of do gooders like you would attempt world domination."

"Well, in all the stories there's always some kind of powerful magical artifact that villains are always chasing after that will somehow let them do it. Although the stories are usually vague on how exactly the item will do that. But I assume we'd need one of those to pull it off," Hollidan says.

"You listen to too many bards' tales," Cadegund tells him.

"No, no, he's right," Echo says. "But he left off the part where the villains usually need a sacrifice of some kind too to get the item to work," she points out. "They aren't proper villains without the sacrifice of some pure, innocent young girl."

"Yeah, but why a girl? Can't boys be innocent? For that matter, who or what defines 'innocent.' Aren't animals technically more innocent than people?" Hollidan muses. "I think about this kind of thing a lot."

"So I can tell," Argis teases.

"Well, sacrificing a girl is classic. I wouldn't mind sacrificing a boy, myself. And if it was an animal that died, I don't think that would make for a good story. You get more of a emotional reactihon if it is a person," Echo points out. "And doesn't this line of thinking just make him so cute?" Echo asks as she reaches over to pat Holliand on the cheek. While she might not be laughing, she does look highly amused.

Cadegund snickers. "Well, well, look at you two. Aren't you a cozy couple?" she teases, looking between Echo and Hollidan with a sly smile.

Echo looks sharply over to Cadegund. "Couple? I think not. Last I saw, Hollidan was getting cozy with the mother of the little girl we saved."

"Hollidan, you two-timer you!" Argis teases, slapping him on the back.

"Hey, guys...hold on a second here," Hollidan objects, waving his hands.

"Careful, Redstone. Soulstaff here looks like the jealous type," Cadegund says with a cat like grin.

"Hey, hey, hey," Hollidan interjects. "It's not like that at all. I'm not looking to court anyone right now," he says, reddening.

"Jealous type?" Echo asks before shaking her head to disagree. "Maybe the more vengeful type. A small lightning bolt to the butt, then I'm good to go. Though, I wouldn't do that to him just yet considering we aren't anything," she points out. "Really, the more sane person would go for someone like Argis here."

Argis laughs. "Well, I'll be sure to let my wife know that she made the sane choice."

"That's a matter of opinion, if you ask me," Cadegund says.

"Really?" Echo asks, glancing once again to Cadegun. "Well, I all ready know you don't go for the more forward type of men," she says. "Didn't yell or punch Nuvain for suggesting the two of you sleep together?" she asks curiously.

"He's an ass," Cadegund says, waving her hand dismissively. "Talking to me like I was some common harlot."

"He's just a kid, he doesn't know any better," Hollidan says.

"Kid? He's older than the three of us put together!" she retorts.
