Babushka keeps silent as is her custom, hoping to concentrate better this time and score hits, but the baaz seem to be too nimble for her this time around.

Locky begins the arduous task of putting on the magical chain mail. First, there's the padding that goes on underneath it. It's itchy and kind of hot, but the armor is a lot less comfortable without it...
Jeremy continues what may well be the worst streak of luck in his career thus far. He strikes again at his opponent, only for his blade to be quickly parried. The Baaz that fell over gets to his feet and shakes his head, but is now ready to fight again. The second Baaz manages to cut into his left thigh, but the woodsman is able to block the third attack.
Jerrard ducks down, grabbing his short sword, and then throws it up just in time to stop an incoming scimitar slash. The impact is jarring, and the draconian drops his scimitar to the ground to grab at his aching claw.
While Babushka and her opponent continue to dance around each other, Thuskar hurries over to Ulster and starts bandaging him up. "Hold on, buddy," he says. "Don't give up just yet..."
It's at this point when an unknown voice begins chanting a spell. "Capik laksana mati!" A figure dressed in white fades into view magically as the spell ends. Suddenly, one of the three Baaz attacking Jeremy freezes in place.
Imani and her opponent strike each other at the same time. The draconian slashes across her shoulder with his scimitar. "If I go down, I'm taking you--!" he cries, but never finishes, as Imani cuts him down and he quickly turns to stone.

Imani doesn't notice the newest figure on the battle field, instead she turns her attention to the Baaz attacking

Babushka cuts into her opponent with her Longtooth Dagger, which causes him to hop back and cradle his wounded arm. "Hey!" he objects, only to be cut down moments later by Imani's scimitars and be turned to stone.
Jerrard staggers back as his opponent rakes him with both claws. The invisible armor spell surrounding him cracks and shatters, unable to withstand any further damage. The wizard counterattacks with his short sword, stabbing the Baaz in the shoulder. He backs away, only to notice Thuskar coming up behind him. He ducks just in time. "Damn, there's too many of them. We gotta retreat!" he calls to the others.
Meanwhile, Malika helps Locky get into her armor in half the time it would normally have taken.
Jeremy is hit again, and nearly buckles. He realizes he can't take much more of this, and is then attacked again. He quickly stabs one of his opponents in the neck and quickly jerks the blade out before he petrifies. Now he only has one opponent left to deal with, but it's uncertain how much longer he can last at this rate.
Finally, the robed strange pulls out a bow, moves into position, and fires an arrow into Jeremy's last opponent.
