About the council.... it they find out this on they're own, we tell them, we send them away because we won't risk a panic? And if they won't ask, that's alright too. And if they send somebody after the Gnolls to kill them, the one of us who's following them recognises that too... is there any problem left?"

Vee seems to be very proud about her plan and grins, waiting for applause

"If we think of them as monsters, then we are the true monsters," Amon says in what he hopes is a very sagely tone. "And this isn't their fight. We can't make them serve as like slaves, else we're no better than Sanbalet."

Having said that, Amon goes to get some heavy cloaks before he gets drawn into another conversation.

Searos watches Amon for a bit and then looks over to Echo. "Is he always like this?"

"Perhaps we can, and I have a heart Master Searos, it just took the Death of my Family to find it." Brax mutters in a matter of fact way.

"Fine, I agree with with Searos and I hate to say it, but Drake here.." She says looking at the crazy looking man. "But, he seems to have his mind set." She smiles.. "It appears to be up to me to change his mind." She changes direction and charges off after the Mage, grabbing him by the shoulder.

"Amon, its all great being all high and mighty, but have you asked them." She looks back at the Gnolls, "Maybe they want to help, have you ever considered that?"

[Stik]

"Let him go, lady. He knows he knows best." Martin calls after Brax. Then he drops his hat atop his duffel bag and walks over to Khchk.

He drags himself up to his full height, still a full foot shorter than the gnoll. Looking up, he reaches up with his hand and motions with his fingers for Khchk to stoop down and lean in close.

"Listen close. There is not much time. That man has made you promises, but his father is chief of this tribe. The chief will not honor his son's promise, and as soon as he hears the tale, the chief will send men to hunt you. Then you will spend every day on the run, until you reach the wilderness or until you are caught and killed. We found you in a day. Even with a head start it will not take the chief's soldiers long to find you.

"Or, you can come work for us, and we will protect you from the soldiers. We are going to hunt your enemy, Sanbalet. How would you like a chance to get even with him? And to earn enough coin to get home on?"

"No, this is actually new to me," Echo says. "Though, why do we need more help?" she asks. "We all ready have one tag along," she says pointing to Martin. "Though, I do agree about not telling the council just yet."

Khchk is very wary of Drake, but stoops down nevertheless. Krtk stays close to his brother, it is clear that if Drake attacks him, the gnolls' hands and fangs will tear him to pieces.

When Drake has finished speaking, Khchk makes a helpless gesture. "No know words" he says. Krtk, who had been listening, taps Drake on the shoulder, then asks "Sanbalet?, moving his hands to his throat in a choking movement. It looks like he wants to ask something like "Sanbalet dead" or "kill Sanbalet".

Searos slaps Gunter's arm to get his attention. "I am always a little uncomfortable whenever one of the mage's agrees with me on something."

[Stik]

"Fanabala. I thought this one at least had a bit of the common speech. Can anyone translate?"

If so - Martin will have the volunteer translate his message exactly.

If not - Martin will attempt to get the message across through a mixture of simple words and Jesting The message is simple. "You work for me, and I protect you from soldiers, and we'll kill Sanabalet".

Amon is grabbed by the shoulder and told he is being 'high and mighty' by a priestess who supposedly worships the god of the sun. The implication of this makes his head whirl, so he almost misses what she says after that.

"I don't understand," he says. "First you are telling me the gnolls cannot be trusted, that they'll betray us the moment they have a chance to...now you are suggesting we take them with us?"

[Jenara]

"I may have said they were not to be trusted when we were fighting them, but have I expressed such feelings since?" She asks a little puzzled, releasing his shoulder, "They may prove useful, after all you never know what we might encounter." She smiles, giving the confused mage an understanding look...

Still a bit puzzled, Amon approaches the gnolls again.

"My companions wish to know...if you are interested in helping us to fight against the robed man, Sanbalet," he says in Gnollish.

[Breila]

"Help fight Sanbalet?" the gnolls look at each other, then nod in unison. "He was bad with us. He would have let us die. We will fight him now."

Amon turns to the others. "They...have agreed to fight with us. Although where exactly are we supposed to keep them hidden then?"
