Chapter 2 - Getting to the bottom of it?

A 5e D&D campaign starting at 1st level in and around the city of Waterdeep in the Forgotten Realms.

Waterdeep: City of Splendours, seat of many thousand plots. Are they opportunities for success, or for an untimely demise?
Will the adventurers sit safely in their comfort zones? Or will they risk their all to carve out a slice of Realms history with their names on it? Puppet or puppeteer?

With Jim defeating Darren's spider swarm the priest is free to call on Lathander's healing light.

Sue is basically full I believe.

He will use his divine sense.

If he does not sense anything he will go join Woody so he doesn't get mugged.

Woody is down 10 HPs but he has left.

What happened with the invisible thing throwing tables. It all stop when Woody left?

Sue will exclaim. "Here, here!" He will rush over to the undead he sensed. But cannot see yet.

He is also down by 9hp.

Sweeping his arms back and forth in front and to sides of him, Jim will follow Sue attempting to keep to the side of the path just traversed by Sue. (The intent here is to "cover" as much physical space as possible in an attempt to touch (locate) anything invisible)

Round 6

Jim moves over to help Darren and sucessfully crushes the rest of the cleric's spider swarm to nothingness, adding, "We need to sweep this room and figure out what is tossing everything around in here."

Darren invokes Lathander's aid and rose-pink light floods out of the aasimar but only clings to him. [+16HP]

"I can't take much more of this. Who is coming with me. I'm out," hisses Woody as he runs to and through the far doorway, closing the door behind him. [Unseen Attack of Opportunity on Woody: AC15, 15HP crush]
Out of sight of his colleagues Woody stands over the collapsed humanoid and sprinkes sand on the floor.

Sue concentrates, then exclaims, "Here, here!" and rushes across the room.

Something slams against Sue's chest. [AC19, 8 crush]

Assuming he does indeed find something he tries to hit it.

Jim moves up beside Sue and feels around but detects nothing, settling instead for flailing the air in front of Sue. [10, 11, 6 crush]
Darren prepares a spell.

Sue smacks the presence he senses [6 crush] and shouts, "I THINK WE FOUND IT WOODY!" before smacking it again. [9 crush]

End of combat

What next?

Leaving Sue to try and find whatever they might have just taken down, Jim opens the door Woody went through. Poking his head through he says "It is safe now Woody, you can come back in." Noticing the body on the ground he continues "Need a hand with that Woody?"

Jim sees Woody to his right, just north of the door, chugging* a potion that causes some of the bruising and swelling to abate.
