Artanis Auir
Artanis will try and grab Pyros as he's going into the drink. Artanis cannot help but wonder...if this fish unhooks itself, who will brag more about "the big one that got away"? Pyros or the fish.

Artanis, Cal, Pyros and Yasir: Down by the Riverside
Pyros keeps his grip on the pole and braces himself to avoid going over, knocking some of the spare bait into the river. In the meantime, Yasir hauls hard on his own line. Both strings go taut and slowly a large, muddy branch comes to the surface... they have both caught a sunken limb! A dark shape surfaces nearby, roughly the length of a full-grown man. A whiskered mouth breaks the surface, gulping down the spikled bait; a bloody gash to one side where the hook was ripped free. Whith a powerful slap of it's tail, the massive catfish plunges beneath the surface... Artanis has seen similar behavior before. Some very experienced and crafty fish will purposefully wind lines around sunken debris when caught...

Artanis Auir
Artanis gives Pyros a slap on the back. "Now THERE's a fish story no one will believe. At least we caught a very large log! Well, with our bait gone, I suppose it's time to wrap it up guys. Besides, Cal has a rather large lunch that needs to be cooked. Do you think they'll cook it for you at the Inn?"

"Red, would you carry the hooks and line? I believe my pouches may just tangle them all up."

Artanis, Cal, Pyros and Yasir: Down by the Riverside
The men pack up their fishing tackle now that most of the bait has gone. Cal carries his catch, a little confused as to what it will take to turn it into a tasty meal, but Artanis assures him that the cook at the inn will be able to accommodate them. The city-going Gnome has had many a fish dinner in his life but has rarely, if ever, been on the preparation side of things.
Cross, Elsa and Mira: The Loop
Oh yes! Let’s see if they caught anything fishing. Elsa chuckles. You know it’s just an excuse to laze about and talk about us girls, right? The cheerful Halfling says as they head to the intersection. Once there the trio turn North towards the West gate. More litter and damage can be seen here, and it is anyone’s guess as to what happened in these back streets late last night. The feel of the area changes a little at the next intersection. The homes here seem a little more run-down, but the signs of deliberate damage have lessened. On the North West corner of the intersection stands a single-story building with a short row of steps leading to pair sturdy but plain double doors facing the road that runs North. While there is one large window near the entrance, the rest of the structure seems to be windowless, but doesn’t look like a warehouse or a residence. A dingy wooden sign over the door depicts a shield and red lettering in Harmonian. Mira reads the single word with some difficulty… “Constable”.

"Strange.. Look at this damage.. Its, its like something did this." Walking through the streets her eyes spot the sign on the door.. "Constable.. Perhaps.. Would you mind if we had a look?" She moves to the doorway, slipping inside before anyone can stop her.

Cross, Elsa and Mira: The Loop
Mira pushes through the double doors into a square room with a small, very worn table surrounded by several chairs, one of which is occupied. A tow-headed young man in leather armor with a short sword belted at his side relaxes there with a cup of coffee. He gives a start at her entrance and stands quickly. My lady gypsy! Is something… Catching himself before he begins rambling, the twenty-something guard affects a more professional manner. Apologies, miss. What seems to be the trouble? Have you come to report a crime?
A small fireplace is set in the North East corner opposite the table with a low fire meant to ward off the chill of the day. A pair of thick oak doors has been set into the North wall near the West corner. They look sturdy enough to keep even the strongest of men at bay. The window beside the doors by which she entered allows just enough light to see by with the fire going. The west wall bears a single light weight door set on hinges that allow to open in either direction, and with no latch or locking mechanism. Elsa follows close behind, but remains silent through the exchange.

Pyros will skip along with the group, humming a fairly fast paced song.

"Crime?" She shakes her head, "No no, forgive my rude entry, I was just curious. May I take a seat?" Not waiting for agreement she sits facing him. "I'm Mira, not 'Lady'." Offering her hand she motion behind her. "This is Elsa and Cross.. Sadly they are not as fluent as me in Harmonian."
"OK, why I was curious.. Outside there is shall we say lots of damage.. Like someone meant to attack things.. I was curious if its common as I'm still rather new." Giving her best smile she waits.

Artanis Auir
Artanis says to the guys: "Well, this should be fun trying to mime to the cooks at the Inn that we want them prepare the fish. Feel up to that Cal and Pyros?" The ranger laughs as they continue their way to the Inn.
