Malika ignores his touch, focused more on her dancing. "Hmm, looks that way," she comments absently. "Although it's been awhile since I performed for free."

"Indeed, it must be strange for you indeed." The mage replies, letting her dance without distraction.

"A habit from my Master, when you spend enough time with someone, you often start taking on the way they speak." Smirking he watches her face light up as she giggles. "Has anyone told you, that you have a pretty laugh?" He asks, trying to change the subject.

"Constantly," she says. "And a pretty face, and a pretty smile, and a pretty body. I've been called pretty, or different words for pretty, at least forty times since we got on this boat, in fact," she admits.

"In-" Jerrard starts to say but stops himself. "These people are stating no more than simple fact, you are ummm beautiful." He blushes, his eyes going down to her body. "But you already know that."

"I suppose so," she says, as the dance ends. She wipes a bead of sweat from her brow. "Although sometimes it feels like that's all anyone ever sees about me. Like...that's the only part of me there is."

"Ask yourself a simple question: Have I treated you with anything other than respect? I believe you have skills which can be used for the benefit of others." Using his hand he uses a Cantrip to wipe her brow.
"You have a brain my dear, do not worry, I will help you prove to everyone you are more than you appear." He smiles his hand going to touch her but instead he pulls away.

"Gods, I'm bad at this," Imani mutters to herself. Using both of her hands, Imani grabs Ulster's shirt and pulls him towards her only so she can plant a deep kiss upon him. Once done, she lets him go, feeling much like an idiot. "So...um, you go get your grog, and I'm going to go...over there," she says, waving her hand in a general direction.

Malika raises a brow to Jerrard, but then slowly smiles. "I guess we'll see, won't we?" she responds, before sashaying away.
Ulster stands there dumbly for several minutes, until long after Imani has walked away. He then slowly shuffles over to the keg, where Thuskar is.
"She kissed you," he observes to the dumbstruck Ulster.
"Yeah."
"And you just stood there."
"Mmm-hmm."
"And did nothing."
"Sure did."
Thuskar places his palm on his forehead. "You...are an idiot."
"Yep," Ulster agrees, refilling his cup. "Yep..."

Walking over to two men Jerrard shakes his head, "I believe we are all idiots." He sighs, taking a cup in his hand and fills it slowly. "Women are a mystery to me also."

Babushka holds Locky back if she attempts to climb up the crow's nest. "No, I think we should better stay down here. The captain won't be pleased if we distract the lookout." Slowly but surely, she is running out of ideas to safely occupy Locky, she rejoins the men in the hope that Jerrard will take over the task now.

"I suppose so." Locky says with a look of disappointment, "I wonder what they are talking about?" She says, advancing on the three men, a look of interest on her pretty face.
"Women are easy, they are the opposite of you Men." She smiles and butts herself between the three of them.

"I suppose if you think of it like that, she is right." Jerrard comments as the Kender arrives behind them, he gives Babuskha a knowing smile, placing his arm around her.

"That's a pretty simplistic way of looking at things," Thuskar says.
"Things are...complicated. I gotta go," Ulster says, before walking off.
Thuskar shakes his head. "Men and women aren't opposites. We're all the same: Confused, messed up, damaged," he adds, after Ulster is gone.
