Jerry smiles at the trapped woman and says in Harmonian, "We'll free you."
She stands back announcing in common, "I judge this woman is a victim. Please can we free her?"
Jerry smiles encouragingly at the woman and then moves out to make way for her stronger comrades.

Common. He doesn't know enough Harmonian to even try.

"Anyone have a metal bar? We could pry out tbe stakes?"

Not I, replied Adran. He looked at her with his usual suspicion and remained vigilant of his surroundings. If the plan is to free her, everyone keep a keen eye about the area - we don't really know what we're in for....

The woman appears confused by the Kender's rant, unable to understand him. [ unless Mira wants to translate all of that ] she seems a little more hopeful at the tone of the Knight and the cleric.
Elsa shakes her head. that's a good idea but I don't have a crowbar or anything like that. several of the others shake their heads as well (the npcs)

Jerry echoes, "Me neither. Maybe a bit of the metalwork that 'held' the undead can be used as a lever?"

Adran will continue to keep his eyes roving about the area for now while the others work to free the woman.....

"Forgive my friends, they are not from around here. They come from far away." She pats the womans arm gently, "You know Jerry that might just work, it truly might." Pondering the stone she looks for symbols, something that she may have read, or heard. "That creature must have had a way to do what she did. Could this thing be how she did it?"

A little bit of everything [1d100] = 29 (30%) PASS!

Karl remains alongside the woman the whole time, agreeing for certain that she needed to be freed. "Perhaps Pytor would be best to aid her? He is far stronger than I."

Mira inspects the slab. While there were no symbols carved on it, there were always stories of evil creatures draining victims of their life-essence. Usually there was an altar, or a focus point. Given the lengths taken to secure her to it, the slab seemed likely to serve such a sinister purpose.

Jerry looks at the pins on the defeated undead's shackles. They appear too bulky and cylindrical to be wedged into place.

Pytor examines the metal work holding the woman. I think i could pry it up... if i can get under the flat... without hurting er. Taking his warhammer, he turns the spike on the back so that it rests were metal meets stone away from her ankle. With his other warhammer, he begins to drive the spike behind the metal strap. Once it is secured, he takes a firm grip with both hands. Grunting and straining from exertion, he pries at the restraints. Slowly one of the spikes grinds free with a metallic grating sound.

Pytor examines the newly freed spike. Someone could probably use this to work one of the other straps, while i free her other foot.

Jerry announces, "No. These manacles are too big."

The Mystran waits, holding her breathe without realising it, while Pytor makes levers with his warhammers. *Dont slip! Don't slip! Don't slip!* she thinks, holding tightly onto Merrick's arm.

When Pytor frees the first spike Jerry almost cheers but manages to mute it to a quieter, "Well done!"

Pyros is not successful in hiding his joy.

"Our personal strong man!"

He looks to the hostage. "Drink?"

Mira strokes the Girls hair as Pytor begins to free her, "Its ok we will get you free. I know this is hard, but your Sister. Did she do the same to her? I she would want you to be free." So this was probably the tie, it linked her somehow. "Jerry if this is the way they were linked, when we remove her, what will happen?" Mira asks in Elven not wanting to panic the woman.

"Nice work." Karl calls in excitement, "Do it slowly, and carefully."

Jerry responds in her best bedside manner, "Not undead so not my expertise, but I think I heard something once.."
