"Well, I'm up for doing whatever you want to do, Gaheris," Jasmine says. If he wants to investigate the sickness in this town, she didn't have a problem with it.

"I'm in, i'd rather not have to rely on Ishan for another meal, to the farm!"

"Hold on, if we wait until this evening, we can accompany the cleric, whom would be quite useful if we run into more necromancers," Gaheris points out. "Plus, he said he'd bring holy water for us."

"Ahh, there's a familiar sight," the drow jokes, "It just doesn't feel like the Empire we know and love without a price offered for excusing one's head from their shoulders, eh Zurgo?"

He continues, "I'm sure you should be somewhat aware of this by now, but I'd be very cautious about what one eats in this town, or else it may eat you. If you're starving, I suppose I can share some chocolate although I am loathe to do so."

" "a King's worth is measured by the height of the mountain of skulls he sits on'! " Zurgo bellowed in acknowledgment of Ben's commentary. "based on what Ishan determined, plus what we saw at farm, it's likely some curse that robs the meat of it's essence, and thus robs the essence of whoever ingests it, as long as i stick with Ishan we should be able to point out offending products,"

"so, i have absolutely no issue with waiting for someone to ensure i will NOT DIE before rampaging off to soak the god's soil with the blood of my soon to be enemies! Ishan! we must buy provisions!"

(ooc: i'll wait till the cleric shows up)

Jasmine sighs softly, and leans up against Gaheris. "It looks like we'll have to waste time until then," she says.

As Ishan waits at the gate he begins to wonder if their was an alternate way of dealing with this situation. His companions were taking quite a while and he was getting impatient.

"Hmm I wonder," he thought to himself, "If I go to the farm alone I can deal with this myself no need to split anything, a coupla undead are nothing and who knows maybe there's nothing wrong I can always get some cows sick a little special sauce in the water some more a few days later and the whole thing goes away. Maybe I should switch to conning villagers instead of this bodyguard stuff it would be a lot safer."

"Yeah."

Ishan leaves Alone.

"Well then, if we're going to be waiting a bit, we may as well grab some food and drink at the tavern. Uh, well, perhaps not food. Let's stick to our own rations for now. But we can get a few drinks, at the least," Gaheris suggests.

(I'm going to time skip here, so that people can get back to the action faster!)
Most of the party
After spending the afternoon doing your choice of town activity, you reconvene in the church to meet with the priest to visit the farm. Five of you meet here that is, Ishan is nowhere to be seen.

The priest greets the rest of you with a welcoming smile and open arms. "Ah, you must be the group that was supposed to go with me to check out the farms to the north of here. So that we can check to see if Urgathoa is working her despicable work through means of zombie cows was it? Anyways, I prepared some holy water for us, you didn't say how much so is five doses enough?" He pulls out a number of flasks of water. "After all, if everything goes well, we won't need to do any fighting, undead or otherwise. Is there a particular farm you thought we could check out first?"

"Brook's, his farm is to the north of here if I'm not mistaken," Zurgo pockets one of the offered flasks. "I'm also told he rides a wagon along a dirt trail, thus i motion we wait and stop his next shipment, if Ishan finds what he found today it'll confirm the meat's indeed coming from his farm. we would ALSO have the perfect cover to go back in,"

"Five doses works out excellent," Gaheris remarks. "That's one for each of us to carry." He accepts the offered flasks and passes them out to all in attendance. He doesn't appear to even notice they are short a person.

"Aren't we missing someone?" Jasmine asks as she accepts her flask. "But I remember him running off earlier. I guess it really doesn't matter."

"The archer seemed the capable sort," Ben adds, swishing about the bottle of holy water, "I believe we've not seen the last of him. I do think Zurgo has the right of things, however."

Everyone except Ishan: (Church in Trevsville)
"Wait for a shipment of meat? That could take him days, Trevsville isn't a large enough town to have every farmer bring in new meat every day. Also I don't see much of a reason to wait for him, why don't we just show up, say hi, have a cup of tea and tell him what we want to do? So, if you don't want to wait for this other person you speak of, shall we go?"

Each player there gets 1 vial of holy water.
If no one objects by the time I feel like posting again, I'll have the party travel to the Brook's farm and meet with him.

"Sounds good to me, padre," Gaheris responds. He turns to Jasmine. "Be ready to carve up some more corpses and their necromancer puppeteers. Hopefully all goes well, but one can never be too prepared, I always say."
