Ouragana looks at Thaddeus, a bit puzzled. Why did he ask the same question twice? Then she realizes he had changed languages in between.

Baeros sees the newcomer doesn't present an immediate threat as his weapons are sheathed, and lowers his bow. "Before we all get too friendly and chit chat all about what everyone is doing here, there are trolls here, and you might be working with them, so lets wait with all this trust for a while."

"Since we outnumber you," Baeros adds smiling "please feel free to be the first to spit out what you are doing here and if you know about the mansion on the island."

"Working for the trolls?" Dahn snorts out a laugh at his own thoughts, "I imagine the wages are quite dismal."

Gallath shoots a look at Baeros and relaxes his bow string. "He was hiding in the bushes from the trolls, I assume." To the stranger he says "Are you alright?" Over his shoulder he says "He probably has been here a while, so he may have forgotten the common language, as he has no one to talk to." He turns back to the stranger. "It's alright. We killed two of the trolls, and chased off the third. Can you understand me?"

Drav looks at the elf in front of him, then says "I can hear you just fine, and my name is Drav." He then looks over at the other man who had his bow raised and says, "Yes, I know of the mansion and the trolls."

Looks back at the elf, slightly smiling, "You know, thirty some years isn't long enough to forget how to speak, even if the only things I could have talked to are walls, trolls, and fish."

"Working with the trolls?" Jocelyn asks then shakes her head. "That has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard," she says before she steps forward to look over the newcomer. Naturally, she had questions, but Baeros was right that they were pretty close to the trolls. "I would suggest that we all move further away from the troll cave before we start with the questioning."

(OOC): No one has been introduced, so I'm having a difficult time referring to people as "person who just spoke"

Drav looks at the person who just spoke, "We could move to my cave, there shouldn't be any trolls of there."

Baeros eyes flare, "Sorry for trying to keep you all safe." he growls. "OK Drav, I'm Baeros. Sorry for the mistrust." Baeros forces a smile, "We have here Jocelyn, Ouragana, Val, Thaddeus, Gallath and Dahn." Baeros is careful to mention the ladies first. "Is your cave in the direction of the mansion? If not, lets just move towards the mansion and on the first break we can talk a little bit."

Drav looks at the party, then to Baeros. "From my understanding, if we head west around the mountain, we can reach my cave. After that, we just need to head south to the lake to reach the mansion. It would be the fastest way unless you want to climb over the mountain."

Looks to the whole party to say, "Just remember that there are some angry creatures that live in that mansion, and some fire-breathing dogs."

"Hellhounds?" Gallath asks. "I always wanted to tame one of those. We can handle your ugly creatures. Is there anything you need at your cave?"

(OOC: Possible?)

"Well that all depends, do any of you want anything?" Drav says looking at Gallath "I've made myself some tools from the iron in the mountains."

(OOC): I hear someone is a fan of Falchion swords?

"Hold on, though," Thaddeus interrupts. "How did you get on this island? It's been lost for 300 years. Are there other people here, as well?" He frowns and looks to the others. "If the mansion has already been raided, this whole thing might be for naught."

Drav looks at Thaddeus, "I know the place has not been looted, I haven't seen a single other person on this island since the device that brought me here stopped running, well until you all showed up."

"If the place had been raided, I think the creatures there would have left or been dead. They are still there, so the place must still hold something."

"So we know that we might be dealing with hellhounds," Jocelyn says thoughtfully. "Let's go to his cave. We should rest up before going to this mansion." She was worried about Val at this point considering she was the most injured.

Drav looks to the others, "Well, If you want, I can lead you all there as I'm probably the only one who knows where it is."
