Divine Sense
The presence of strong evil registers on your Senses like a noxious odor, and powerful good rings like heavenly music in your ears. As an action, you can open your awareness to detect such forces. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any Celestial, fiend, or Undead within 60 feet of you that is not behind total cover. You know the type (celestial, fiend, or undead) of any being whose presence you sense, but not its identity (the Vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich, for instance). Within the same radius, you also detect the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated, as with the Hallow spell.

Sue hears a divine chorus centered about fifty-five feet behind him.
Woody and Jim don't hear anything.

"I don't sense anything in front. But behind us, there is the overpowering sense of a celestial of some sort... I'm not sure what that could be, especially down here."

"I say we counting around the corner going SE. Let's try to get away from the creature. If it start following us we might need to put it down."
"I would like to figure out away to get to the upper level."

"A celestial?" Jim turns back to Sue "You're sure?"
Looking back the way they came, Jim pitches his voice to carry and speaks some words in a musical sounding language. To his companions he says "Let us find out what is at our backs before moving on shall we?"

After perhaps a dozen breaths a strange thins comes into sight from the southwestern tunnel: an armoured humanoid, probably human in fact, but vitually soundless and whose colour rapidly changes to match the wall nearby. He says in thecommon tongue, "Daisy send me. I am Darren The Imperfect."

Anyone with sharp eyesight Passive Perception of skill check 13 or higher sees that 'Darren' waesrs a stone-coloured amulet engraved to the likeness of a Rising Sun.

I don't recognize the the name Daisy. Is Evenwood aware who that person is?

"Sent you? Do you know what for?"

Jim's passive perception is 16. Do you require a roll?

Jim also has the coin with the light spell out in the open. "Is this the celestial you were mentioning Sue?"

A voice, coming from the wall so far as Sue is concerned, answers, "To see how it goes. You weren't supposed to know I was here. But as you do, is anyone hurting?"

Sue can now make out Darren as separate from the wall.

"Likely. What did you say you saw over there?" He points to the muck.

He then looks at Darren "I have a small scratch."

To Sue "An eye stalk or something. I'm not actually sure."
To Darren "Just a bruise or two, nothing serious."
