Con Save: [1d20+2] = 19+2 = 21
Con Save: [1d20+2] = 14+2 = 16

One for the damage, one for the concentration.

"Nice job man. Now... let's see if we can get to this meeting in one piece..."

Woohoo, now... do we have time for a short rest lol.

"I'm in for a rest but is this place safe." What do we see? Is all the plant life completely destroyed?
During the rest Woody will cast Alarm 6 time to recharge his arcane ward which would recharge 12 hps.

I'd have to check but it feels that 60 minutes of nonstop Ritual Casting wouldn't allow a short rest at the same time by that PC. Does this affect what Woody does during the hour?

No it would not affect his rest was he can't regain his spell slots at this time. He has used the ability at this time. He has full hit points as the Arcane Ward took the damage.

"A quick rest would be beneficial I suppose. Do we have the time for one? Rest or no rest, you look like you could use a couple of these." Jim will pull out some of the grey mushrooms from the underdark from his pack and hand a couple to Sue while taking a bite out of one remaining in his hand.

After hacking through the remainder of the fungas blocking their way the group can settle down on the three foot wide ledge for a short rest (which will be undisturbed.)

Jim notices that the warhammer previously wielded by one of the amber brigade is still laid on top of the remaining fungal mass. It's just out of reach without treading on the mat of gray filaments.

What next?

======
1d4HP regained per mushroom. Roll again on a 4. Roll 1d20 on a 1

Sue will sit down and eat the non mind rotting mushrooms.

Sue will focus on adjusting his new armour more to his liking, adjusting straps, and shifting plates a bit.

Mushroom: [1d4] = 1 [1d4] = 2
First one heals 1! Second one heals 2!
Mushroom [1d20] = 5

That gets Sue up to 15.
Hit Die1 [1d10+2] = 2+2 = 4
19/37
Hit Die2 [1d10+2] = 6+2 = 8
26/37
Hit Die3 [1d10+2] = 2+2 = 4
30/37
Hit Die4 [1d10+2] = 3+2 = 5
35/37

Jim settles in to rest chewing on 4 mushrooms.
Mushroom: [1d4] = 2
Mushroom: [1d4] = 2
Mushroom: [1d4] = 3
Mushroom: [1d4] = 4 and because it's a four there is a Mushroom: [1d4] = 3 roll
and 1 hit dice Hit Dice: [1d8+1] = 5+1 = 6

While sitting chewing, Jim notices the warhammer and points it out to his large friend with the propensity to accumulate weapons.

Sue will use his glaive to pull the hammer in. Anything interesting about it?

It's well made: excellent quality, has good balance, is unmarked by impact and free from rust.

"Well that is a bit remarkable. You have some way to know what this thing does, or how it is in such good condition, Woody?"

"I could use my identify spell on it but it will take 10 more minutes to cast. I think we are best to get to the rendezvous point first. We can figure it out later."
Carry it on your person for now.

So are the party going to rest now?

======
If the party take a Short Rest here, you can expend hit dice etc as usual.
Short Rest can allow Identification as well..

And would someone give me a 1d12 roll as well, please.

[1d12] = 8

If he does ID as well, that would be 1hr 10 minutes. I'd be ok with that, as would Sue since he is interested in the weapon.

Already did my Hit Dice rolls.
