Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
"I'll do what I have to do according to my faith," Jocelyn says as she marches along after Sable.
Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
"Hold on, I need different clothes" Ouragana tells Sable, pointing to her garb. "This gives me away as storm sorceress immediately."

Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
Val does a quick search of the prison room before returning to the main chamber and looking around there.
Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
"Could you be more vague next time we speak?" Baeros mutters.
Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
Jocelyn, Ouragana, Baeros, Gallath and Drav (Enott Harbor/Sardonx 16th, 12 AM)
Baeros hands over one of the pistols to Gallath, as well as a few bullets and black powder doses. Neither of them know how the guns work or what the black powder is for, though.
"There is no time for that," Sable says to Ouragana. "Hide your ring and use a cantrip to change your clothes' color and hope for the best."
With that, Sable begins marching the manacled Jocelyn with her to the docks, the gnoll honor guard walking around them in a circle for protection. They come to a handful of rowboats that are docked in the harbor. "We'll take you to the ship on these. Everyone get in."
Val and Naras (Ixitxachitl Lair/Sardonx 12th, 1 PM)
Val returns to the main chamber where she finds the undine have gathered, along with the siblings and the older one they rescued from the altar. This elder undine approaches Val and speaks in the common tongue. "My children have told me of the role you played in helping my people. You have my thanks. You are...Orcish? Odd, I had heard the orcs were cruel and vicious surfacers, not unlike the sahuagin. I see that I have been misled. To aid our people in their time of need without reward shows that the rumors I have heard are not true."

Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
"If you haven't figured out what my faith is all about, then you haven't been paying attention," Jocelyn says. She lets out a sigh, and climbs into one of the rowboats.
Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
Val replies. "My birth mother was an Orc, viscous bitch she was. But in my travels I have learned you can only judge people be their actions alone, not based on their race or appearance. I was here with Naras, and I am thankful that neither of us lost our lives."
Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
Ourgana sighs and while they're walking, she changes her trousers to dark brown, her vest to bottle green, and her sash to red. Her shawl becomes saffron yellow, and she ties it around her waist with the sash. Since she shouldn't use magic anyway, she stows the ring of wizardry in her belt pouch.

Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
Gallath has no idea how to use this, but it's really just to look like a real pirate. He climbs in the rowboat.

Jocelyn, Ouragana, Baeros, Gallath and Drav (Enott Harbor/Sardonx 16th, 12 AM)
Once everyone is aboard, the gnolls begin paddling the rowboats out to sea. After awhile, the ships come into view under the moonlight. One of them is clearly the Poison Curse, as it is the largest among them. Jocelyn remembers it well. The other two smaller ships flank it.
The Poison Curse itself is a caravel ship, while the other two are cogs. All three are heavily armed with cannons, ballisatae and catapults. They look particularly sinister in the witching hour.
Once they pull up to the main ship, rope ladders are thrown down and they begin ascending up to the main deck. "Fetch the captain," Sable tells one of the crew once they are aboard. "I've captured Jocelyn Blaine for him." She gives the pastor a little shove forward, causing her to stumble onto her knees. The pirates are surprised, but one of them hurries off to get the captain.
(OOC: Sable was actually referring to Ouragana's Storm Sorcerer signet ring, not her ring of wizardry, by the way.)
Val and Naras (Ixitxachitl Lair/Sardonx 12th, 1 PM)
Val's words just come out as jumbled blurbs due to the water surrounding her. But the woman seems to get the gist of it anyway and just nods. "My people will help gather up the treasure for you, as well as your wounded friend. Then I would suggest we return to our home, before your water breathing spell wears off."

blurp, gurgle, spit. Val follows
Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
(OOC: Oh, sorry. My mistake. I had forgotten about it. Ihope you don't count it as Ouragana's mistake, she will have known it and put it away.)

Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
Jocelyn winces as she falls to her knees. She has a look of panic on her face, which isn't acting at all. Despite the plan, she still is panicking as she doesn't really want to be in this position.
Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
Baeros muscles tense, he holds his breath and becomes somewhat red as a result, but he manages to keep himself from attacking Sable, just barely.
Re: CH. 17: Poison Curse
Ouragana tries to blend with the other sailors and watches.
