"Indeed, it is wet. Do you need something? I have a cloak, if that would help.?" brax asks routing through her pack finding a simple dress for herself.

Searos looks miserable under his cloak. "I don't know. Do you think the tent serves ale?"

Gunter laughs at the thief's remark and then begins to un-tether the remaining tent from the packhorse.

"I don't know about ale but I have a skin of maywine left from the other night. Help me get this up and the drinks are on me."

Vee smiles at Brax thankfully "Yes, that would be nice... I don't like to stay in this cloths."
"I can't understand how you can live in a place like this..." Vee mumbels

Brax passes Vee the cloak, giggling a little more, the girl made her feel young again, like she should be.

"I have lived in worse, when I arrived on the surface I lived in fields, under bridges, I didn't have a home for many months." She shakes her head, kicking off that thought. "Change, at least Echo here is dry." She winks.

Searos moves to help put up the tent. "Well... its not ale, but gods above Muscles... you make a fine wine."

The men manage to set up the second tent in a space that, though still wet, is not a puddle. In the process, they discover the generous provision the town of Dunreese has provided, including, oh marvel, a small barrel of ale...

Brax and Vee do their best to dry themselves, to the acidic remarks of Echo who almost screams at every drop of water coming ever so slightly her way.

An hour later, the squall has passed, the drumming of the raindrops stops. Looking outside, people can see that the cloud cover is opening up here and there, letting through splendid rays of the afternoon sun. The two mules are huddled closely together under a tree, looking miserable.

Brax lets far more water go over Echo than is actually needed, because she can see it upsets her.

When the sun comes up she slips outside, dressed in the basic white linen dress, her legs plainly visible. "Ahhh Pelor, you shine on us at last." With that she gets her wet clothes and hangs them on a dry tree. "What now? The Mules won't be able to take that path, unless Gunter can convince them its the right thing to do... I assume he has a way with Animals?" She asks, looking for the Ranger, who is probably in the tent with Searos getting drunk.

With the sun visible again Vee comes also out, only dressed in Brax cloak, her clothes in her hands. "I don't belive in Pelor, but if he send us this sunshine I'm thankfull too!"
"I think we can go without the Muels if we don't leave the camp for to long, can't we?" Vee had sit around for an houer, now she want's to do something... "But Yes, where are the boys?"

Gunter drags the keg into the tent and places it between him and Searos, using it as a table. Taking a pull from the wineskin, he leans back and listens to the patter of raindrops on the roof with a satisfied 'ahhhhh' before passing it to the thief

"Well, looks like we can enjoy some relative comfort for a moment, eh?"

Amon and Echo both pass the time during the rain in the same way, despite being in different tents. They both try their best to keep from getting wet and use cantrips when necessary to dry their clothes. Echo does not scream when she gets wet, just glares daggers at whoever is responsible.

(OOC @Jaded: you had not posted for Echo in a while, so I assumed I should NPC her)

Kim comes out of the tent, nodding to Brax and Vee enjoying the sunshine. Then she knocks at the men's tent and asks: "What are we going to do with the rest of the day? It's sunshine out there and only mid-afternoon."

The mules may be able, with some difficulty, to go down the cliffside path as far as the group has explored it, but it was getting ever narrower and there was no place visible where they could have been turned around in case going on was no longer possible.

"It would make sense to move on while the weather lets us, if Gunter can help with the Mounts." Brax replies, she can be found in a dry spot lying down and letting her legs see the sun.

"We should press on and see if we can unravel this mystery while the weather permits," Amon says.

Echo raises a brow to Brax. "What does that even mean, 'held with the Mounts?' Gunter, I think she's gotten into your maywine again."

(OOC: Horizon has specifically requested that nobody control Echo other than me until she returns. She reinforced this in a recent email to me the other day.)
