Tavi takes a seat at one of the tables, waiting for her sister Hallie to walk by. If anyone could read the note that she just found, she could.

Hallie does eventually stop by, and when asked to read the note, she reads the following: "The key is the sword, the sword is the key! South of Forsaken Road." Hallie hands the note back to her. "Whatever does that mean? And where did you find it, anyway?"

"I'm about as clueless as to what it means as you are," Tavi admits with a sigh. "And it really doesn't matter where I found it, but I plan to look into it some more."

Hallie nods, and gets back to work, leaving Tavi to decide on her own how exactly she was going to 'look into it more.'

Tavi stands and heads back to Miranda's to buy a healing potion. If she is going to help in any way, she has to be in better health than she is at the moment.

"My, that was fast," Miranda says when she enters the shop. "You haven't retrieved those herbs already have you?" After Tavi explains that wasn't the case, and she was interested in buying potions, Miranda shows her her stock. "I've got six healing potions on stock today, each one costs 3 gold pieces. How many would you like, dearie?"

"I'll take three," Tavi says.

The transaction is made, and Tavi adds three Potions of Minor Healing to her inventory for the cost of 9 gold pieces.

"You come back now, anytime," Miranda says.

Tavi steps outside and takes one of the potions quickly to heal herself up some more. She glances around trying, wondering about the time.

Tavi drinks down one of the potions, and the pain in her right thigh eases a bit.

Looking around at the sun, it's still fairly early in the morning, from what she can tell.

It is 9:00 AM.

Tavi decides to actually get something to eat at this point. At least she can waste a little time until she can pick up her sword.

Presumably, this means Tavi is heading back to the tavern. If so, she returns there to find that breakfast is still being served.

Tavi orders some breakfast from her sister, and looks around the group of people gathered as if searching for people that would be willing to help her out. Though, it seemed that most people around here seemed to be farmers and the like.

If by farmers, Tavi means fishermen, there are quite a few of those. There's also her sister, Rosamund, and Mama Chipmunk, of course. However, it's still rather early and the place is kind of slow now. It should pick up again around lunchtime, though.

Hallie brings Tavi some fried eggs and strips of ham. "That'll be 5 silver," she says, like a professional already.

Tavi pays the 5 silver for the breakfast, and digs in. Once she is done, she walks over to Mama Chipmunk. "So I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions."
