"Good, he met his match." Angel says grimly, "At least we know this is the right way." Wearily she hobbles back to the rest of the group, "We need to make this place defendable, I am somewhat injured, Eldon will need rest, Liri... Well she is injured as well." Sighing she puts her hands through her hair and frowns.

"I don't suggest we move on at all right now, lets do what we can, and stay away from that pool right now."

[Breila]

"I would even suggest we go out of this cave altogether" Liri says. "We have people waiting for us outside, remember? And fresh air is much better for recovery than a musty cave."

[Jenara]

"What do you all think?" Angel asks with some reluctance, "So far you have followed me, and I thank you. Should we go outside?"

[Ismaels-Legacy]

Bastian walks carefully toward the trio, staggering a bit as he misses his footing. "We need to search them. See if there's anything left behind that could indicate what they were doing." He nods toward the dwarf briefly. "We should probably bring his corpse with us as well. Master Fraso may like a chance to examine the tattoos." He looks around the group as he considers his next words. "We should probably ask to have a guard placed on this entrance as well. If for no other reason than to alert someone should more foes come through. Besides, we still don't know what THAT is." His final statement is punctuated as he points at the purple, pulsating, pool with the handle of his flail.

Cleans blood off of Shortsword and examines own wounds then goes over to look at the dwarf

[Breila]

Liri nods at Bastian. "Good thinking. Though I doubt we are in any shape to carry the dwarf's body out just yet."

[Jenara]

"I could probably manage it, if Eldon can walk." Angel says with a sigh, "But first we have a look at this pool.. Could it perhaps be a portal? How else would these creatures make it here? Unless Liri's sharp eyes detect a door or passage I cannot."

"Do we have an accord? We investigate the pool, take the dwarf thing outside, rest for a while, then return the body to Master Fraso?"

Bastian shrugs and says, "I'm not opposed to dragging the body, but yes, I agree to the plan."

[Breila]

"Honestly, Angel, I do not want to approach this pool while we are all in this condition. If it is indeed a portal, what comes out of it could be just as bad as what we've found so far, and we're in absolutely no shape to face it." Liri's arms are crossed, and her voice very determined. "Let us drag the dwarf out and inform at least the soldiers of what else we found here."

[Jenara]

"I asked for your advice, and you gave it." Turning from the pool she nods, "Lets take him outside." sheaving her blade she throws the dwarf over her shoulder.

"sounds good enough to me". Papa walks over and lends a hand to those that are not steady enough to walk on their own without assistance

[Breila]

Liri looks at Bastian. "Arm in arm, we should make it, don't you think?" she offers. Eldon needs support more badly than those two.

[Jenara]

"Help.." eldon asks weakly, trying his best to get to his feet.

Walking with a slight limp Angel stops, "Papa, Maghus, can you check the bodies?" She asks, before resuming her slow progress.

Bastian offers his arm to Liri and then looks to Eldon. "Need a shoulder, friend?"

"Yeah..." Eldon manages to say reaching up to Bastian, "Those things are pretty harsh, Blondie seems to take it in her stride." He comments looking at the departing Angel.
