[OOC] Breila - Per your post, Liri was waiting for the third Grotdier G3 to move past the doorway, so she could attack it from behind. The only opponent she can attack stealthily is G2, but attacking him from behind would mean turning her back on G3, which hasn't crossed the doorway yet.
If you want to change that action let me know, so I can revise my post.[/OOC]

Liri moves into the cave and stealthily tries to get behind Grotdeir 3, or at least to his side, before she attacks.

INIT 10 (13 if you use weapon speed), hits AC 8 for 3 dmg

[OOC]Sorry I wasn't clear enough[/OOC]

Eldon continues to press the grotdier and scores another cut as it struggles to regain its feet. Eldon is standing inside the reach of the grotdier's weapon at this point, almost chest to chest. The grotdier, unfazed by a mere knife wound, drives its polearm forward with both arms, crosswise rather than point first. The unexpected blow catches Eldon across the chest, causing minimal damage [2 hp dmg] but knocking him backwards and causing him to stumble on the rubble-strewn floor and step on the corpse of the grotdier that he and Angel had killed moments before.

[OOC] This is a result of the Eldon's fumble. Ordinarily this would be a trip-and-fall kind of thing, but Eldon's an acrobat, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Jerrard - please give me a DEX check before initiative next round to see if Eldon keeps on his feet. If he fails, he'll spend the next round getting up. [/OOC]

Angel manages to pull her backup weapon and throws a backhand swing at the grotdier, but has to dodge out of Eldon's path, which causes her swing to miss its mark.

Papa's blow misses its mark as well, and as the grotdier moves in closer, Papa feels his shoulders strike something solid. His back is literally against the wall. The incoming mace strikes him in the shoulder as he jerks his head out of its way [2 hp dmg].

Liri pushes her way past Bastian and moves quietly into the room, looking for an angle on the grotdier to the right of the doorway. Eldon, pinwheeling his arms, nearly blocks her path, but she sidesteps him. Despite the action in the room, and Liri's stealth, the last grotdier turns to face her and raises its weapon - a club edged with stone blades. Liri thrusts with her blade, but misses. The grotdier swings its club, the blade barely missing her head, close enough that she loses a few strands of hair in the process.

In the doorway, supporting himself against the wall, Bastian takes a jab to the ribs from his back-left. He turns his head to see Maughus there, raising his short bow and laying an arrow across it, looking for a clean shot.

There are still three live grotdier in the room, and one that is acting as a speed bump/tripping hazard for Eldon. (sorry, can't give you a new map at the moment. I'm still at the office, just taking a short break from overtime).
Papa is to the left of the door, his back to the cave wall and a grotdier in his face. Angel is standing just beyond where G1 fell, mace in hand and facing a badly hurt grotdier armed with a poleaxe. Liri is to the right of the door, facing a fresh grotdier armed with a spiked club.

==============================================================

[OOC] You know the drill, folks. Jerrard - please give me a DEX check before initiative as mentioned above. [/OOC]

Bastian hunkers down but keeps his arm within the room. Hopefully this will allow Maughus to fire over him.

Hissing a curse because she was discovered before being able to deal a first blow, Liri strikes at the grotdeir, but misses.

1d10=8, 1d20=9, 1d6=1

Angel swings again, her mace crashing down against the shaft of the grotdier's polearm with a jarring shock that she feels all the way through her aching arm to the elbow. The grotdier counters with a thrust to her thigh with the butt of its weapon, rather than the blade end. The blow lands hard, crunching into her leg just above the knee (4 hp dmg) and knocking her slightly off-balance.

Papa's opponent swings wildly with its mace, and pushes in even more, but misses badly and trips on the rubble in the process. Its mace strikes the wall throwing sparks from the stone, and the creature falls forward into the wall and down to the floor. Papa strikes again with his gladius, but tangles up in the creature causing the swing to go wide.

Eldon manages to keep on his feet, but just barely. He rushes to attack Liri's opponent, but his footing is less certain than he thought on account of the rubble beneath his feet. His first swing is easily blocked. His second manages to clip Liri [3 hp dmg to Liri (blame the Natural 1)] Liri, shocked by the cut to her arm, misses an easy opening on her opponent and is rewarded with a cut to the shoulder from the grotdier's stone-edged club. [another 4 hp dmg].

Bastian drops to his knees and immediately hears the twang of a bow behind him. Maughus is shooting into the fray. His arrow strikes Angel's opponent and sinks in.

==================================================================

[OOC]Actions and rolls, please. Papa's opponent is now pretty much prone on the floor (see, I roll Natural 1s, too). Angel's opponent is still standing, although it looks a bit wavery. Liri and Eldon are facing a fresh grotdier. [/OOC]

Eyes wide with shock, Liri looks for a good possibility to retreat. Seeing none for the moment, she attacks again with her gladius.

1d10+6=16, 1d20=15 , hits AC 3 for 1d6=5 dmg
and oh, I entered the wrong initiative modifier for the gladius, initiative is 13, not 16.

Bastian cups his hands together, looking like he is praying from where he is on his knees before the entrance, and attempts to turn the coin's light into a spotlight so it is less likely to blind Maughus.

"Back away, let me help." Eldon shouts as he frowns at the injury on Liri, "I am sorry." He adds as he looks at the Elf, then over to Angel.

1d10=4, 1d20=4, 1d4=3, 1d20=1, 1d4=1 ffs!

Oh yeah! Hit AC 0 for 3 damage.

"Liri, help Liri." she shouts, swinging the mace at the creature in anger.
