"Well, no I suppose not. I can take care of my family now, after all," Kendra says. "Aside from the fact that I am his wife," she adds.

Well, let's check out this place anyway. We can always turn back if it's too hazardous without weapons.

"Sure. Follow me," replies Shima, who takes him to the nearest (probably only) undercover sewer entrance that he know of.

Kendra Synclair (Prefect's Mansion)
"Then what if I agreed to release him?" Tethys asks. "Would you then be more open to my offer?"
Gobax and Shima (Warehouse)
Shima leads Gobax to an old warehouse on the docks that seems abandoned. When the patrols are looking, the two slip inside. It's large and empty inside, although Gobax sees a few signs that it was recently inhabited--old, rotting blankets and small piles of refuse. Deep inside, Shima lifts up an old rug to reveal a trap door in the floor. However, something is different. Shima finds a new padlock on the door, which wasn't there before.

The dwarf has a look around (for weapons) before trying to pick the padlock.

A look of surprise washes over Kendra face as she didn't expect Tethys to offer to free Norris. Though, this was a chance to free Norris, even though it would make it highly awkward what with having Sadron staying there as well. "If you release him, and give me...say a day to spend with him after his release so I can help him get settled back into normal life, then I'll stay here."

Some might call it insane to try and break into a high security prison-house without a solid plan to get out again or even having a fully rested mind ready to appropriately combat any difficulties it could come up against. However Haahqae was clearly not completely there, and there was a pretty large part of him that he was pretty sure had to be in the house somewhere. That said; he's not quite insane enough to try breaking any windows yet. Instead he waits near the front door looking for any opportunity to overhear useful bits of conversation or for the door to open so he could slip inside.

Haahqae (Prefect's Mansion)
Haahqae makes his way to the front door to sit and listen. The guards there seem to be in good spirits.
"So do you think this is really it? The end of the rebellion in the city?" asks one.
"By the Dragon Queen's five heads, I sure hope so," says another. "We all deserve a little R&D after this. Maybe that brothel will be opening up soon, too."
"Guess it depends on how many rebels there are still out there. If there are any more out there, though, hopefully the execution will take the fight out of them for good," says a third.
As they are talking, the front door opens again. Kendra steps out, wearing black studded leather with the Dragon Queen's emblem on it. The guards all snap a salute to her as she passes. Haahqae only has a brief window before the door closes again. If he wants inside, now seems the time.
Kendra Synclair (Prefect's Mansion)
"We'll see how the execution goes then," Tethys says. "Make sure there are no incidents, and I'll agree to that deal. In fact, perhaps you'd like to head to the market now and oversee construction of the gallows. You can keep an eye out for any problematic people in the area. If you see anyone suspicious, just alert the guard, and we'll have them placed in holding until the ceremony is over."
Gobax and Shima (Warehouse)
Pulling out his thieves' tools, Shima sets to work on the padlock. After a few minutes, he manages to get it unlocked. Opening the trap door, he reveals to Gobax a ladder heading down into the sewers. However, when Shima looks in, he spots no signs of the weapons they had left behind last time. Felran's body (which had become quite gross recently) is missing, as well.

Kendra nods. "I'll head over there now." She dismisses herself, and heads out to where the execution is going to be. ~Oh please no one mess this up,~ she thinks to herself.

"Looks like we'd need to find some weapons if we're going down here," says Shima, not commenting on the fact that he was expecting to find some, in particular the previously rusty one he'd rescued from a chest. "Any ideas how we might get some here without being arrested?"

That's perfect! the goblin says upon seeing the trap door. Weapons? He looks around the warehouse for anything he might be able to use. (Furniture breakable for a club, stones goos for a sling, anything useful hidden in the junk-piles or under other rugs). This is quite a ways from the high hand... I don't know if we'd be able to smuggle anything or avoid all of the checkpoints. Is the sewer here really that dangerous?

"In my previous travels I have, from time to time, been in sewers and encountered dangerous creatures," replies Shima. "It would be stupid to assume the sewers here are any different."
He joins the search for improvised weapons.

And what are the chances that it's Kendra leaving that would give me a chance to get inside?
With little time to think; Haahqae does his best to balance speed and stealth as he enters the mansion.

Tulbas almost immediately wants to answer he would join the Lunitari order. After all he was taught the Art by Raetmal and truly seeks to increase knowledge as Justarius mentioned.
But then just as he breaths deeply before speaking, the words of Ladonna sinks in and suspicion crawls to his heart. 'The world is unfair...' This is true as he felt on his own flesh more than once. His father was good and kind. He tried to save humans on that horrible night when he was murdered, and what good have come of it?? None. The same people he saved where the cause of his death. Raetmal was suspicious, but still tried to warn the city from the occupation. He was a devoted mage, and what good came out of that?? He was murdered by Magnus. Yes... Ladonna speaks the truth, and even Black Robes doesn't rule out increasing knowledge. But he was grown to hate the black robes... How is it possible that he will become one of them. Have he already became one?!? Why did he kill Magnus? Indeed he murdered his uncle, but he was helpless. 'Was I just afraid I won't be up to it if he was whole?' Tulbas thinks to himself. 'Had my heart blackened by Magnus murder? he worries 'Haven't all my actions so far was partially selfish?' his mind is troubled. 'If I was really good I could leave all aside as Raetmal asked, when the riots began... I was a fool, and that brought his end.' And with that Tulbas faces his highest fear, 'It is not solely Magnus blame that Raetmal is dead. It is also mine... And thats what had corrupted me and now I have to face it.'
With both guilt and hate in his heart, Tulbas looks at Magnus, then Justarius, Par-silan and eventually Ladonna and says, "I choose Nuitari." Then he adds, "May I ask how the other apprentices fared?"

Haahqae (Prefect's Mansion)
Haahqae manages to slip inside just before the doors are closed again, passing by the oblivious Kendra in the process. He is now in the entry hall. Not counting the way he came in, there are double doors to the west and to the east. There is also a door to the northwest and two more to the northeast. There is also a staircase leading up to the second floor directly across from him.
Miracle can smell food coming from the northeast, including cheese, and it excites her.
(OOC: Here is the
map again, if you need it.)
Kendra Synclair (Grand Market)
Kendra leaves the mansion and makes her way to the market. In the square, she finds that the soldiers are building up a stage for the upcoming execution. A small crowd of curious onlookers have gathered around, wondering what the soldiers are doing and why. Kendra recognizes one of them as the kender, Pen.
Tulbas Erogund (Tower of Wayreth, Unknown Floor on AT 15)
"They survived and have chosen their allegiances," Par-Salin says.
"Another dark elf to add to our ranks," Ladonna says. "And a Silvanesti, to boot. Just like Dalamar. What a very rare occurrence. Still, I won't argue with it." She stands and brings a set of black robes to Tulbas. She was right; he is now a dark elf, one who has 'left the light.' As a result, from here on out, he was no longer Silvanesti. His people will shun him and if their homeland is ever reclaimed from the nightmare, he will not be welcomed there. His brothers and sisters in the Tower are his only family now.
She also hands him a cruel looking dagger with a curved blade. The hilt resembles two dragon heads wrapped together with a skull at the end. "I also gift you with this blade, as proof of your success. Its powers are locked away for now. It will be up to you to discover and unlock them, magus," she says, speaking the proper term for a full wizard--no longer an apprentice.
(OOC: Tulbas' power now wanes and waxes with the black moon, Nuitari. He also now has access to the Tower and its resources, including labs, libraries, etc. As he grows in level, he will acquire new powers, as well, as he learns the dark secrets of Nuitari.)
Gobax and Shima (Warehouse)
Searching around the abandoned warehouse, Gobax manages to find an old table leg that will serve as a decent club and a couple of stones that should fit into a sling. Shima, however, turns up nothing useful.
