At Angel's news, Liri curses heartily in Elven. "It's good you brought the wagon, at least" she tells her friend. "We were expected - Master Fraso especially - in the Sindaco's villa. We should bring the wagon there, tell Tanulan what happened and then go look for any signs to where they all might be, and free them if we can."
She then turns to the dwarf priest: "Master Fraso is a necromancer. he has been studying the appearance of undead in this region, we hoped he could help."

Galanis is distracted by the news and doesn't explain his name means something similar to 'The song the rays of sun passing the tree leaves sing when gently touching the green grass at the woods floor' and instead he says, "Egg? Salia? Hiric? no signs? Did you see any suspected foot steps at the site?"

"There were too many prints. I think they fought a battle, and left not of thier own accord. We need to get this wagon safe and find them." Angel explains quickly her voice full of concern.
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

"Let's hurry then." Galanis says, climb his horse and follows Angel trying to keep in protective structure as far as one horse and a wagon can get.

A necromancer... Ari says flatly, giving no sign as to how he feels about the revelation. Hmm...

(No one has mentioned the Villa to Angel... So she will move it where directed by the others)

Angel sits on the bloodied seat of the Wagon, sword resting across her lap, blood flowing from the wounds on her leg.. She could feel the dull ache of marks in the back of her mind.

This situation had brought back a person she hoped she had vanquished, training had snapped in place before she could think.

"Where am I moving this?" She asks her own voice bringing herself from the reverie.
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

"Then I suggest we move." Angel responds and moves the vehicle where directed. Once they are in the gates she secures the strongbox.

Once they arrive in the mayor's house, Ouragana reports to either him or Tanulan and offers that they go out looking for Fraso.

Given the chaos in the narrow streets, it takes a considerable time to reach the sindaco's villa, even though it is only a few blocks away. Upon arriving the group encounters a squad of heavily armored infantry, bearing the insignia of the LXXXIV Legion. The men are huge - all over six feet in height and heavily muscled. The men are not at all friendly, and refuse to permit entry until a younger legionnaire appears from inside and vouches for the group. He is Lucius, who greeted the group earlier on behalf of his commander.
"You may enter. The wagon must stay here. These men shall see to it that it remains intact. Follow me," sayd Lucius.

He leads the group through the gate into the courtyard of the villa. It is fairly typical - a large stone house constructed around a central courtyard, although in this case the one wall of the courtyard has large arched openings through it to provide a view of the lake. Those openings have been newly closed with timber.

In the courtyard are a pair of canvas tents. The smaller of the two is round, about ten feet in diameter, and dark grey in color adorned with a painted symbol. It is badly rendered, but depicts six arrows in a clenched fist.
The second tent is larger and cleaner - white canvas with red trim, a rectangle about ten feet by twenty. Most of one wall is pulled open revealing the interior. The furnishings inside are sparse and obviously made for the field, although they look expensive. On a stand near one corner is a suit of imperial armor, and next to it is a rack of weapons.

Tanulan steps out from the closed portion of the tent, adjusting his tunic as he walks. "You have arrived. Good." He lifts his swordbelt from the table, draws his gladius, and places it on the table, then he buckles the belt on and sheaths the sword. "Your group seems a few short. Where is Fraso? He is not..." he bares his teeth and makes chomping motions.
"No matter where you go, there you are."

"Master Fraso is missing." Angel responds before Liri can, Liri was the only one who had a right to be here, but Angel knew more of what had happened.

"I returned to the Wagon, and found it empty except for a single body. One of your townsfolk I'd say.. He had been.. Changed." Ignoring the increasing thob from her leg she regards Tanulan with a Soldiers eye. "I believe he was taken by force, and is held here against his will. I plan to find him."
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

"Taken by force, you say? That would be unfortunate. Lucius - send a runner to the men on the gate. Have him ask if they saw anything. And have him pass the word to the search parties. They're looking for a dark-haired fat man in his mid-forties, wearing too many chains, another man in his early twenties, and a teenaged girl. Oh, and a short bald-headed man in rusty chainmail. If they are found, they are to be brought here politely."

Lucius repeats his orders, then rushes from the tent to carry them out, leaving Tanulan alone with the group.
"So, we shall find your people, one way or another.
"A poor host I am. Please, come in, come in. Would you care for some wine? Bread and cheese? Apples?"
"No matter where you go, there you are."
