[Oop, you're right she never did say her name. The man whipping her said it "Akriel", but only Artanis heard that. I'm sure he would have shared with the group]
Yasir appears concerned when word of the wolves comes up. And here you lot are worrying about me. Did everyone make it ok? It sounds like you had a close call, he says seriously, holding her hands. I should be out in the morning. Don't take any risks until I can be there to watch your back... I don't want something happening to you while I'm in here...

"I want to come back, and don't worry I have Elsa watching my back." She giggles hugging the hafling. "We are a couple after all." Giggling again she reaches through the bars and manages an awkard kiss.
"I'll see you later, and i hope you enjoyed the pastries." Stepping back she stands next to Elsa, trying not to cry.

He kisses her back firmly, giving the pair a wink before they step out of view. Thanks for the treats, I'll be done with my vacation in the morning. he jests. As the two women return to the outer room, Elsa stops the bard. Did you tell him we're a couple? she giggles. That'll drive him crazy thinking about it.

"I hope you don't mind. I thought Jerry's thought was funny, Im obviously not your type. The thought will give him something to focus on.. And thank you.. We needed the alone time." She giggles back.
"I may have to bring the beds together tonight.." She winks and waits for the door to open again.

The final door opens as they return to the room with the fireplace and the guard. He should be ready for release in the morning, provided all goes well.

"I'm sure it will go just fine." She responds with some finality. "I'll be back later, and he may get some more visitors who don't speak Harmonian." Giving a quick description of the rest of the group she collects the sword, strapping it to her belt she jury-rigs a back holder for her own sword. "Thank you for the blade, I will treasure it, a tribute to a brave man." Offering her hand she moves to the door.
"If you are free this evening, I'm playing at the inn. I'll put a drink behind the bar, and one for Devon." With that she leaves the Jail arm in arm with Elsa.

Thank you, I will let Devon know. Use the blade well. As the women are about to leave he speaks one last time. Did Kharus say nothing of a reward? There is typically one when civilians are involved...

"Reward?" Mira stops, lost for a moment, "Yes, actually I think he did. It didnt feel respectful to ask." Pausing she stands before him, hand on the sword hilt. "May I ask how much? And will Bakki's family recieve a payment?"

Usually it's per-head but since I wasn't here I'll post a flat amount. He pops into the kitchen and comes back with a small, portable writing desk. He takes out a form and fills in an amount, signs and seals it with a crest and wax in the small wooden cabinet. Take this to the bank near the Meistersinger's Mansion. Harmonia provides assistance for the families of all guards and soldiers in the event of a tragedy. It is kind of you to ask. Mira looks at the paper, carefully puzzling out the text:
By order of the Constabulary of Harmonia, the bearer of this note is to be compensated in the amount of 200 pieces of gold for service to the Township of Harmonia. This order is authorized by Seargent of the Guard, acting deputy Jean-Louis Moreau. Signed and sealed this Monday, February 26th. 736 BC
====
The Meistersinger's Mansion is the large hexagonal wall in the center of town. Mira would know where the bank is by now.]

"I'm.. Astounded by your generosity, thank you." Taking his hands she shakes it firmly. "We will ensure it is divided fairly." Releasing his hand she wraps an arm around Elsa's, slips the form under her bodice and exits the Jail, heading to the Bank.
"That was a surprise, I was expecting something slightly less." She suggests to Elsa, suddenly realizing she has no idea how much. "You'll see." She winks.

He dismisses hee comment about generosity. 25 a head is not that unusual, and your friend's cooperation made things go more smoothly after. I will be here until evening should you or your friends return.
Back outside Elsa inquires, So where to now? The pair make their way to the bank, a small stone building constructed right up against the hill in the center of town. At this early hour a there is only one teller and a pair of watchful guards. The teller is a man just beyond his middle years writing with a bone pen behind a large mahogany counter with a small but intricate iron-work screen. As she approaches he glances up but continues writing. Yes?

"Greetings." Offering her hand she steps closer, "Hello I'm Mira, this is Elsa. And we have an order for some money, signed by Seargent Moreau."

Good day, the man says blandly as he receives the note with aplomb. He inspects the seal and holds it at half-arm's length to read it. He looks at the pair of them and back to the signature. Hmmm... After another look at the women and again at the papers before he sets it aside. Taking a lock-box from somewhere behind the counter he sets it atop the desk, behind the ironwork screen. A complex looking key makes a brief appearance and he opens the lid towards him, out of view.
The banker removes a gold mark and sets it on a shallow tray, One... two... three... he begins counting as he stacks each coin in-view. seven... eight... nine... ten... The man begins another stack beside the first, droning on as he goes. Twenty, then thirty, then fifty. Elsa's eyes widen as the number of stacks grow. A little over half-way through the arduous process Elsa turns to the bard and whispers in common, Holy honey-mead! How much is he giving us? The banker stops, blinking at the interruption and glances between the two women. When they don't respond he re-counts the half-stack of 5 and continues on, seven... eight... nine... One Hundred Twenty...
Elsa's face flushes and she mouths the word sorry silently to Mira. The banker drones on in his monotone tenor until the final sum of 200 gold stands before him in 10-coin stacks. He carefully slides the tray forward through a small opening in the iron screen. If you could leave your mark here... he presents her the bone pen and indicates a blank spot at the bottom of the note.

Mira signs the paper in her best handwriting, suddenly realising she has no way to carry such a large amount of gold. (That's like 20lb yes?)
"That's the standard fee I'm told." She smirks, "Oh drat. How are we going to carry it all?" She asks, smiling sweetly to the teller. "I don't suppose you might have something I could carry this in, on a loan.. I'd return it."

[Actually I do 50 coins/lb. A small belt pouch can technically hold 5 lbs]
Elsa produces a couple of spare pouches. My da always said, be prepared. she says with a grin.
