Nah, Haahqae's got way too much pride and foolishness for that. He has a low find traps score because he's only level 3 and he's got himself a ton of hide and move silently. They'll never find him!

As we have two quests going on at the same time, I'll once again color them differently to make it easier. This time Kendra is the sole member of Blue Team, while everyone else is on Red Team.

How quietly can Haahqae cast a spell? Can he nearly silently create a cantrip that looks like a mouse?

Please don't. Do you remember last time? Lol, I guess it's his nature though...

Don't worry about it, this mastermind's got everything under control. Heck, I'm practically invisible! (True invisibility to come if I ever survive to a high enough level to cast it).

You do have that bottle of see-through-PC with the no-streak shine... but c'mon, did he learn anything from almost dying last time? I remember bandaging a gnome up at -9 hps...

Yeah, he learned that arrows can hurt! I mean, until I figure out some way of raising my wis to a level approaching terrible, he can't really learn any valuable lessons of wise teachings.

Fair point, we'll try to keep you alive. Too bad this isn't 3e where we could just keep throwing 'owl's wisdom' on you all day to bring it up to a crappy 7 (instead of an abysmal 3;) ) we'll muddle through somehow :D

Ha, Grubnick is the one whose wisdom I would question. He was the one who suggested Haahqae go down there. Haahqae has a WIS of 3, he is practically incapable of learning from his mistakes. What's Grubnick's excuse?

Anyway, any spell with a verbal component (including Cantrip) will probably give him away at this point. The guards are tense and waiting for something to happen. No matter how quietly he speaks, they will probably hear him.

Haahque is the only one he knows can sneak. And he just knows his wis is low, not demihuman minimum ;)

This bowman seems to have a +8 luck score while he's aiming at Haahqae.

So far he's rolled an 18 and a 20 on a d20 and an 8 on a d8 and a 14 on 2d8. Maybe Haahqae should sit this one out until that critarcher is out of the battle.

Yes, a player can specify that they are going to 'wait' until a specific time before carrying out their action.

It's weird, because I'm notorious for having awful rolls when playing archers. I guess that rule doesn't apply to NPCs, though.

It's that giant magnet Haahque has on under his clothes... either that or the giant bullseye that only npcs can see...

That magnet is a piece of cutting edge gnomish technology. Nobody's supposed to know about it.
