Okay, so, Invisible castle is up, but I'm messing up somehow, it seems to be rolling twice as much.

Make sure it says '1' in Number of Rolls.

Okay, we'll be wrapping this up soon and moving on to the island. Sorry to everyone for the delays. Grey's return was not expected (although it was good timing he returned
before the party went off to a faraway island for 2 weeks, huh?), nor was Ouragana's sudden indecision on actually going on this quest, so things have taken a little longer than anticipated.
Speaking of which, xelphyn, did you ever make those HD rolls?
Nuke, I know you've probably had your hands full with the whole fire thing, so no rush or anything, but you never answered my
last post regarding Val's cargo, so I thought I'd remind you.
And Breila, if Ouragana doesn't come on this quest, are you planning on just sitting it out entirely or did you want me to cobble together some kind of solo quest for her? My concern is that Ouragana is already about 1,000 XP behind the party average, and my current calculations predict the party will earn somewhere between 8,000 and 10,000 XP each on this island quest. So if Ouragana skips it, she'll fall
considerably further behind the others. I can put together a solo quest to try and mitigate that, but the only way she'll earn that much XP by herself is to slay a dragon or something, which seems unlikely.
Anyway, I'm hoping to move things forward in the next day or two. Thanks everyone for your patience.

Well, I wasn't sure what you had in mind with Koh'kra's appearance. I vaguely remember you saying Ouragana missed an opportunity to gain him as a henchman, so I wanted to make sure I didn't miss my next chance. Of course, with no communication possible, this isn't possible at this time.
I tried to roleplay her more, showing her chaotic, whimsical and temperamental nature. Aparently, I succeeded.
I wish I knew what mistakes I make to always get less XP than the others.
From her experience in the Arakocra's home, does Ouragana think he'll be happy in a bed? then she'll pay for a night in the inn for him. But he might prefer to perch up in a tree near the village. In either case, she will pay the innkeeper another silver for her cleanup effort.

Okay, so apparently it only looked like it was rolling twice as many dice because of the way it was formated:
2d4; 2d6: [#,#]=(#)
2d4; 2d6: [#,#]=(#)
But then I realized there was a one in there so , here it is:
The result is 10

Sorry about the confusion.

You said you wanted Ouragana to ask around to find out how the Aarakocra are doing. But I figured such a scene would be kind of dull and probably fruitless--I doubt anyone in town really knows what is going on with the Aarakocra. So instead, I decided to have Koh'kra show up in town. He's always been curious about the outside world, so it fits. Basically, I was just giving you something to do while the others had their own scenes.

The largest source of XP in D&D is combat. And if you remember, in the earlier part of the game (primarily the first arc), Ouragana had no combat spells whatsoever. So when a fight would break out, often she would just stand there or take cover or otherwise not participate. Another decent source of XP for mages is spellcasting. But again, as Ouragana had no combat spells, she rarely ever cast spells at all, and so that was even less XP to be gained. Eventually this caught up with her.

No worries. So we'll add 5 HP to his maximum total. Done and done, he's now fully upgraded.

Sell it, no big deal, at least she didn't lose gold.
Let's pick up a suit of chain, just cause. And reduce the GP to gems.
As for the fire thing, we are making progress. The insurance is wrapped up and I have been hauling gravel to fill the low spot....damn near half the lot. Close to pulling the trigger on a new home.

Okay, chese, to get started, I'd recommend reading the
Lost Souls Handbook thread (if you have not already). It's a basic primer on the house rules I use, as well as some basic information on the setting. You can roll up your character at
Invisible Castle, a website we use for dice rolls here. Unless you are unable to access the site the same way spyguy cannot? In which case...I'm not sure. I'll have to roll for you, I suppose.
Here's a
link to pretty much all the 2E rulebooks. The only one you really need to worry about is the very first one, the Player's Handbook. It's pretty essential in understanding how to create a character and play the game. You don't need to memorize it, but having it bookmarked might be handy for reference.
Do you have any thoughts on what kind of character you'd like to play, in terms of race and class?
