Ouragana turns to Thaddeus. "Are there spells to strengthen the hull of the ship, so it can't fall apart?" she asks him. She herself looks up at the crow's nest. If the person manning it should get unsettled, at least she could make sure he/she doesn't crash on deck...

A few moments after Val whistles, Mist breaks the surface behind the Bullring.
Thaddeus thinks carefully. "There are some spells that can undo damage to the hull...but they are beyond my ability to cast. I'm afraid all I memorized today were spells that are useful against enemy ships, not dragons," he admits.

"Then you're going to be more useful than me. I don't think it'll be possible for me to put a dragon to sleep - unless - can we combine spells?"

"Combine spells?" Thaddeus asks. "What did you have in mind, exactly?"

"Of course not!" Arei shouts over the waves, "Val can look with Mist, permission to dive in Captain?" She asks, looking into the water.

Val drops her bow and gear, holding only her trident dives over the stern, looking to mount as quickly as possible.
After she is astride Mist, she dives to recon.....

Ouragana explains to Thaddeus."What I meant is this: Can two wizards work together on a spell, making it more powerful? Can one wizard lend power to another to boost the power of a spell? I mean, I don't know spells that would be useful here, but maybe I could channel some of my magical engergy to help you cast more powerful spells?"
Her eyes are still mostly on the crow's nest, and she holds herself steady on the railing.

Sierra gives the elf a double-take. "What, you mean...dive down and fight the dragon underwater? Can you even swim?" she asks, flabbergasted.
Javos is up in the crow's nest, and he doesn't seem to be having difficulty at all, as far as Ouragana can tell. Thaddeus, meanwhile, shakes his head. "No, as far as I know, sorcery doesn't work that way. I've heard tale of clerics combining their powers, but not wizards. Even if we could, we have no way to reach the dragon. We certainly can't cast spells underwater!"
In all this chaos, nobody notices Val drop most of her gear, and climb down to the water, mounting the orca whale.

"No, but someone-" she halts, making a double take seeing Val. "Be safe my friend." She smiles.
"Can we move the ship? Try to dislodge the dragon if it is underneath?" She asks, still hanging over the rail, "What are your orders Captain?"

Ouragana sighs. "I really have to go back to the Academy. it seems like I didn't learn half as much as I should have! I'm so useless!"

"Are you guys forgetting about the potions that we have," Jocelyn asks the others. "There has to be something there that could help us."

"All I have is a potion of flying, it won't help me against a dragon, flying or submerged" Ouragana answers.

"The hell are you even talking about?" demands Sierra, getting angrier. "Who is doing what now?"
"It's the half-orc!" Terra jumps in, figuring it out despite the lack of a proper explanation. "I think she's using that whale of hers to go fight the dragon."
"Who told her she could do that?" Sierra asks, slapping her own forehead with her hand in frustration. "Alright, evasive maneuvers!" she calls out. "I sincerely doubt we can shake the dragon loose, but it's worth a shot."
"Actually, a Potion of Flying would allow a person who can't swim to essentially fake it," Thaddeus says to Ouragana. "It allows someone to move through three dimensions with mental commands; it could be used to move through the water as easily as through the air."
Meanwhile, Val takes a deep breath and the two dive below the waves. The salt water stings the injuries the half-orc took from the metal spiders, but she ignores the pain for now. Sure enough, on the ship's belly clings the last dragon, using its claws and teeth to tear away at the hull. Its progress is slow, but sooner or later, it will destroy the ship in this way.

"Sorry, she obviously felt she should." Arei explains, "She does not mean to be... Well.." shaking her head lightly she turns to the two dwarves. "Val can't fight it alone."

"It might not be useful for you, but it could be useful for someone else!" Jocelyn exclaims. "Areilon, potions, do you have any?" she asks.
