"Ahh then my trip to the Lord is not needed, he is a dabbler, I might go and see him, to see if he can help at all. Alone perhaps, but maybe if one of you lovely ladies came with me it might go Better." He says resting against a wall, biting his lip.

"What did you find at the Store?" He asks the two women, "Just as expensive?"

"Everything was expensive," Imani admits. "Oh, and Locky, they didn't have any clothing for kender. I managed to pick up some rations, and some clothes for myself so that I don't stick out quite so much in the forest."

"Expensive but needed, Malika my dear, did you get a cloak, you will most likely need one in the cover of the forest. It is far cooler here...." Looking at the group he thinks for a moment. "Expensive as they are we need the horses, we need tents too, some more bedrolls." He pauses. "Babuskha, can we talk in Private?"

"Oh." Locky says with a crestfallen look, "Could you help me make something suitable?" She asks the Gnome, "Please?"

Malika shrugs. "I got some boots, but the cloak I already have should be good enough," she says.

At Jerrard's request for a word in private, Babushka shrugs. "We could go to your room, if you think we need to." She gets up.
To Locky, she says "Well, I could take a look at what we have and see what I can do for you. It takes time, though."

"Yes, that would work." He says to Malika.

Taking the Gnome out of the room he smiles, "Tell me, our new friend, should we trust him?" He asks.

"Yes please." Locky says with a giggle. "So tell me about yourself." She asks Jeremy.

"They are a bit of a strange bunch, aren't they," Imani says softly to Malika.

Malika shrugs. "You've known them longer than me."

"Yes, I thought they were kind of strange when I first met them too," Imani admits. "They just seem to get...stranger as time passes. It sometimes feels like they are just...drifting along."

"They do seem lacking in leadership," Malika comments, touching her chin with one finger. "But, that doesn't bother me any. To be honest, I don't plan any further ahead than they do myself."

"It does bother me," Imani admits. "My goal is to save my son, but on multiple times I've heard them say that they don't plan on ever returning to Khur. It makes me nervous."

To Locky, Jeremy replies, "Not much to tell, I grew up a tanners son, learned the trade from him. We would have people come in praising his work, but too many times, I would over hear the same people belittle him behind his back if they stood to gain an advantage from some one else, so I packed up and left town. Learned how to survive in the woods from some woodsmen, and an elf that was in our area. That's why I thought maybe the elves might be some what better than my people in regards to honesty and integrity. Seems I was wrong, they're just as hypocritical as humans. Claim to be close to nature, but shunning others who feel like wise. I just want to fine a place where I can live in the woods in peace, without the hassle of dealing with backbiting liars and hypocrites. "

"Interesting.."Locky responds to him, "It's like the people who claim to be kind and clever, yet they won't let me buy a simple suit of clothes... Oooo kender, run away." She giggles, hands in the air.

Her keen Kender ears pick up the chat near her, "i would say Jerrard is in charge, and Babuskha." She grins, "And I am going back to Khur, I am freeing my people."

Babushka looks up at Jerrard. "You're asking me a difficult question, you know. I have misjudged people so badly I don't trust myself anymore there. But Jermey has given me no reason not to trust him. He asked the right question when we were looking at the horses, and he admitted he is not a good horseman. So I think we can take him along, but keep our own senses awake."
