The magic missiles fly from Jerrard's hand and slam into the giant frog with great force. As the wizard was casting, Ulster drew his (or rather, Elvenoff's) sword and charged around the pool to strike at the frog. Because he's carrying a torch, however, he was unable to use Elvenoff's shield. Ulster manages to get a cut across the frog's flank, but the amphibian ignores him and instead leaps forward. The frog clears the pool entirely, landing right by Babushka and Jerrard.
"What the--?!" Ulster says as the frog escapes his range.
With a mighty ribbit, it launches its long, sticky tongue right at the mage, sticking to his crimson robes.
=======================
(OOC: I think other than the troll, this has been the only non-plant planned encounter we've had so far in this module. The giant spider was a random encounter, so it doesn't count.)
Jerrard casts Magic Missile, launching two missiles at the giant frog for a total of 5 damage.
(OOC: You must be a 5th level mage to launch three magic missiles, sorry.)
(Also, for some reason, Invisible Castle keeps giving me a server error. So I hope nobody minds if I just roll the dice manually. I promise to be honest about the results.)
Ulster attacks the giant frog with Elvenoff's long sword (1d20+1): 20, hit for (1d8+2): 4 damage.
Giant Frog leaps forward and attacks Jerrard with his tongue (1d20): 12, hit. The tongue sticks to Jerrard.
Party's Initiative (1d10): 1
Enemy's Initiative (1d10): 10
(Party wins!)

(ooc: Think he may have got confused there! lol)
Raising her hoopak Locky lets loose two bullets, letting them slam into the creature (and making herself visible, was getting bored with that anyway!)
(same here on the error, shall rolled at KoM:
Hit Rolls:
1d20 die results: 5 + 5 = 10 (Hit AC 8 )
1d20 die results: 15 + 5 = 20 (Hit AC - 2)
Damage Rolls:
1d4 die results: 2+1 = 3
1d4 die results: 3+1 = 4

A rock flies out of nowhere (literally), slamming into the back of the frog's head with such force, it lets go of Jerrard and snaps its tongue back into its head. As Locky's image fades into view again, she loads up another rock, and lets loose. The second rock hits the exact same spot, this time with an audible crack. The frog goes limp, twitching slightly, as blood pools beneath it.
"Geez," Ulster says, coming over to shine the torch light on the frog. "They don't do anything small down here, do they?"
======================
Locky attacks the giant frog by slinging rocks with her hoopak (10, hit) and (20, hit) for a total of 7 damage. Locky is no longer invisible. The giant frog falls.
End Melee.

"Shame, I never did find what it eats..." Locky shakes her head and smiles, looking into the pool for any small rocks or stones that might make good bullets, and any that might be interesting.

Babushka bends down to the frog. Is id dead or just unconscious (ooc: not sure if "falls" always means death in this context)?
At Ulster's remark, she replies: "You're absolutely right, everything is big around here. Not only the creatures. I would have expected a lot of passages even too small for me in a cavern system like this, but so far, all have been large"

"I was thinking about that, its almost as if someone made this place." Locky ponders looking in the pool. (are there any fish?)

Locky does find about three nicely shaped stones that would function well as sling bullets. There are also small fish in the larger pool, perhaps indicating what the frog usually ate.
The giant frog still lives, but is unconscious and probably will be dead fairly soon.
======================
(OOC: Basically, it's in negative HP and is bleeding out. Unless someone tries to save it, it will die in a few rounds. That is generally what I mean when I use the word 'falls' as opposed to 'dies.')

Jerrard looks at the fallen Frog in suprise, he didn't expect it to die so easily, but smiles that it did.
"Ahh Locky, what do you see?" He asks looking into the pool, "Fish, I wonder if this is connected to the underground river?" he ponders looking to the end of the cavern.
(OOc: Yes I got his level wrong, my mistake.)

"It could be, but you'd have to dive in to find out" Babushka tells Jerrard with a wink.
"So, do we move on?" she indicates the path and waits for Locky to take the lead as usual, winding the now limp fungus staff around her wrist again.

"You have a good point my dear." Jerrard says with a smile, returning the wink. "However." placing his hands in the water he splashes his face and hair before speaking a few words of magic to dry himself.
"I'll lead!" Locky shouts bouncing away.

The tunnel they take only goes about twenty feet before they encounter a dark, fast-running river pouring out of the wall and down south. The tunnel branches off to the east, although that would require crossing the river. They could also just walk alongside the river, to the south, and see where it goes.

"Let's follow the river" Babushka suggests. "I doubt that the shroom is massive enough to cross this river safely."

"I haven't seen it. Is it rather strange Jerrard?" Locky asks, moving back just in front of the group.

"Its rather strange, imagine a tall mushroom, with a sword. I am rather scared of meeting it again." Jerrard shudders, checking his blade. "Yes following the river would be a good idea." Jerrard says moving close to Babuskha, "Unless you are suggesting I take another swim?"

Following the river south, the tunnel winds a bit for about fifty feet before opening up into a huge, long cavern. The smaller river dumps into an even bigger one, running west to east. The big river is so wide that even with the girls' infravision, it is impossible to see the other side.
From here, there are two visible paths. The first is to the east, but it means crossing the river they just followed. The other path is to the west, a tunnel that seems to bend to the north.
