Act 2, Scene 1: "A Flicker of Hope" (Main Game Thread)

The 2E AD&D Homebrew Sandbox world of Genwald is large, ancient, and magical. There are many undiscovered/untamed places. The Sun Kingdom (European style, Late Medieval Human NG Monarchy) is the basic Campaign area, but PCs can end up anywhere.

The scars of ancient battles of titanic proportions mark the land. Wild magic zones, fantastical terrain, grand adventure, political strife, and even artifacts of wonder await. Choose your part and come make your mark on the world. A wide array of unconventional races and classes are available.

[ well healing doesn't work beyond Reviving the person with 1 hp on the day that they go to death's door, so there wasn't any more Jordek could do for him before Nocturno slept]

Nocturno also prepares a full compliment of CLW when he is able. But that won't be for a bit still right?

"I hope we aren't delayed. Hate for the rest of the group to think the worst happened.... even though it did."
He shakes his head and clears his throat.
He pats the mule.
"Onward steady steed!"

Jordek will cast clw on the elf until the elf waves him off.
(I think he can actually restore hit points at this point)
Jordek will fuss over the elf in an awkward mothering fashion. It will include tea of course and offering the giving of scritches to Chitt if the small mammal permits the elf to do so.
(Pincushion did a good job and we need to keep pincushion happy or he might leave like the last pincushion.)

OOC - Wow does that site love me.

Jordek takes a deep breath, holds it and releases it forcefully. "Sometimes you can be really stingy you know that! He nearly died for me! I know I know, faith and all that but come on.." Taking a couple minutes to calm himself idly undoing and re-braiding a couple beard braids, Jordek mutters "He really isn't that bad you know." as he starts praying for another healing spell.

[lol, it hates you but if i'm doing the rolls doesn't that mean it hates me? ;) ]

Jordek calms himself and bargains aloud with his diety... albeit somewhat respectfully. Trying again, he heals another minor wound on the heavily armored elf.

wow...
Jordek CLW on Noct [1d8]=2
Nocturno is now at 10/17 hps

side note: did a quick test, got about avg overall
test [1d8]=3, [1d8]=4, [1d8]=3, [1d8]=2, [1d8]=8
out of 5d8 avg should be 4.5*5 = 22.5

The Squirrel god must be upset...

[Alright, unless there are any objections...]

Nocturno mounts the mule, still fighting the lingering effects of the near-death experience the day before. Mild weather continues throughout the day. Gradually Nocturno improves, and is even able to managed to make his prayers to Corellon
They eventually reach the trail that runs south of, and parallel to the great rift. Another hour or so should see them back to the meeting place. [how will they proceed the last little bit?]

Nocturno speaks healing prayers to repair some small cuts, but it seems that oddly the powers that be are unsympathetic today...

One final prayer and Nocturno is fully healed

Jordek and his repaired pincushion continue along the trail for a few hours until they reach the meeting place near the Basilisk cave. No one else is in clear evidence, but previously the elves had been hiding out in the treeline nearby, so they could be around...
