The smaller goblins harrying Nocturno fail to connect with the elf; one even missing so badly that he strikes the wall, snapping his rusty short sword in two! The cleric makes good use of the opportunity by reciting a rapid prayer of healing for himself, but the golden light washes away only the barest of cuts! Nearby, Jordek sinks his dagger into the back of the guard threatening Katten, while the Felis draws her own blade in a sweeping arc to strike as well. The long sword slices a deep cut in the creature's neck, and it burbles its last through bloody lips at her feet.

Elden hops about on light feet, facing off against three of the wetrocks. He delivers a powerful right to one of the goblins battling him, nearly felling the it in a single strike! The enthusiastic young martial artist does some quick footwork as he gestures for the goblin to fight. The creature obliges, but cannot seem to catch the human with his blade. The larger goblin in the center of the trio uses the momentary diversion to hack a solid blow into the human's torso! A sudden gasp escapes the fighter as the axe blade sinks deep into his flesh and he falls backwards in a heap; arms about his belly and barely breathing!

The goblin leader Krak catches Nocturno with a narrow cut, leaving him Him first. You next! he taunts through pointed yellow teeth.

Go! Get dem shooties! Don't want no escapes! A garbled goblin voice screeches from the darkness. An axe-wielding figure soon resolves. A particularly ugly goblin with a slightly over-sized set of good quality chainmail cinched around his body with a belt. The creature is built heartier than any goblin the party has ever seen, though his ruined jaw and face bear the claw and tooth marks of some large animal.

A new trio of heavily armed goblins rushes onto the scene, one closing with the roguish Gnome Jordek, one closing with the Dellinanth, and the last rushing around the melee towards the darkness to the north! The wild elf quickly stabs his current foe, sinking his spear into green flesh, before raising the bloodied tip to threaten the newcomer!

Keel dat damn KAT! And da dog too! It snarls, moving the heavier axe to its off hand and pulling a hand axe from his belt. With a snarl, he hurls it at the Ranger! The small axe clips the edge of her whiskers as it slices through the air past her face!

The guard rushing into the darkness northward gets a half-step out of range of the waiting Drow's initial swing, but the crafty Linar lunges with his left to deliver a solid blow into the unsuspecting back of his target; eliciting a shriek of pain! Dark Elf! the badly wounded guard calls from the shadows back to his chieftan. Eeet kill Shlef and Chnark!
Den Keel it BACK! the Chieftan shouts tersely.

"Damn human. Always so impatient. Focus here! Help defend his body!" With his martial training taking over Nocturno tries to get the attention of his friends to help cover Elden's prone body.

Can he get "over" his body in a protective way without offering up a bunch of Opportunity Attacks?

He will slice at any Goblins between him and Elden.

[to get directly over him, Nocturno would provoke from G50 and KRAK, and the one fighting Jordek (Gx4) is still kind of in the way. If that one were to move he could get partially over elden and only provoke from g50. To move without provoking, he has to basically circle or 'withdraw' which would be backing away. The goblins seem more interested in downing the conscious party members at the moment. ]

He will start cutting his way to the human, but not to be on top of him.

The goblin with the broken short sword backs away from the melee, moving near his chieftan. The larger goblin smacks him rudely upside the head, causing the smaller to cower and gesture with his ruined weapon. Growling, the ugly leader points to the dropped weapons in the middle of the battle and unceremoniously boots him back to the fighting. The only other goblin not wearing chainmail takes a stab at the Gnome, but Jordeks nimbility serves him well and he remains untouched.

Katten draws the axe at her belt and glares balefully at Krak, waiting for her chance to close with him knowing that breaking the goblin leadership could send the others scattering. Jordek takes a stab at the more heavily armored goblin threatening him, his narrow blade finding a gap in the rusty mail. An instant later Nocturno slashes into the back of the same goblin, felling him and moving up to take the dying foes place! The Elven Cleric of the Protector stands over his shorter companion and the unconscious martial artist, interposing himself between them and the enemy as best he can!

Seeing her opening, the Felis Ranger steps up to slash at Krak with her sword and axe. The goblin avoids injury, catchiing one blow on his armor and dodging the other completely! Dran heels his mother and moves as if he wants to join the fray but cannot make his way around the others without stepping away from Katten.

Meanwhile, back in the darkness, Linar continues his efforts against the guardsman. The chain wearing goblin proves more formidable than he first seemed when he bats the Drow's longsword attack away so hard the dark elf looses his grip on the weapon! Linar manages to land a glancing blow with his shorter sword, but his foe keeps his feet! An arrow from behind tags the goblin in the side, causing it to stagger back, gasping on the ground. Once again Indendien's aim proves true.

Mixeg releases a wordless shout of aggression as he hurls a second hand axe, this time at Dran! The wolf-pup ducks under the blow, growling fiercely at the goblin chief! The melee continues as the axe-wielding goblins do their best to lay the party low, but the more heavily armored heroes manage to stave off further injury... for now!

The above assumes retrieving the LS is an action that precludes attacking this round, so just that and HS/MS if allowed (else the latter is just fluff desription). I hope that makes sense.
