[Yes, the very top of the Ziggurat]

Pyros ascends one final time to the uppermost ledge of the structure. There he finds the massive Raven is shaped with a wide round base and rises like some tower of midnight omen. The surface of the statue radiates a warmth; the black surface having soaked in the unshielded sun from its high perch.

The base of the statue takes up most of the 10x10 foot pinnacle of the Ziggurat; leaving only a 1-1/2 foot wide ledge on the sides, but slightly more space in the corners. A groove has been worn in the adobe beneath the statue from its turning.

Jerry clambers up after the Kender. From this vantage the pair can almost see above the outer edges of the canyons, but not quite. They can, however, see that the path to the south widens into another boxy cul-de-sac.

Marveling at the huge feature Pyros will be extremely puzzled at the no entrances, but somehow remain quiet.

Is the thing moving? Or is it fixed on Mira still?

Jerry look for any sign of an opening (or control for the same).

The massive statue remains fixated on the group on the ground. No part of the Ziggurat platform nor any portion of the statue indicates an entrance

Pyros will let out a very loud sigh.

He will hook the hook on the corner, not the side they ascended on, but the West side.

================================
We went up on the south? He will climb down the west.

Rolls for the descent also?

Jerry considers what she's been taught about undead skeletons.. specifically whether using her Mystra-given talent to seek (Detect) magic would likely activate them.
If not, she tries that, in case there is an entrance masked by an illusion.

======
Did the kender climb up the Raven? Is the raven big enough to have an entrance hidden in its top side that isnt disible from where the pair stand?

[The raven is big enough that there could be a hatch or something on top, sure. looks like Nocturno id planning to descend the opposite side of the Ziggurat]

Jerry ponders her spell. The verbal components, if not spoken quietly enough, might garner some attention..

Jerry gives a delicate 'stop'-tug on the rope and then raises her end on the rope in the direction of the raven, hoping that it won't take much to encourage the fearlessly curious Kender to climb or otherwise explore to the very top of the structure.

She mutters the brief words as carefully & quietly as she's capable - almost subvocally - having no other ideas for investigating the pyramid yet still thinking it somehow leads to the crown she's fated to seek, 'Mystra, show thy Weave.'

Int check [1d20] = 3
Pyros halts at the waggle and the muttering. He thinks about the waggling and looks up the figure.

He will shrug, and start to climb. If he can secure the grapple on something he will.

Wall Climbin': [1d100] = 95

[Lol! one of those climb checks was bound to go bad...]

Jerry quietly calls upon her patron, though she seems incomprehensibly far from her. finally a trickle of the magic dribbles into her, slowly opening her eyes to the arcane. From her current position, neither the statue nor any part of the Ziggurat appears magical...

Pyros moves to ascend again, but the grapple slides free of the statue with a clatter. There is an oddness to the sound as it scrapes across the ivory-dyed baked adobe... Moving to ascend naturally, he slips on the smooth surface just a few feet up; smacking his knee against the large raven with an audible Thok!

Jerry uses her gift from Mystara and casts Detect Magic
at her current level, 3

Pyros shakes it off. [ At least it was in the first few feet.]

He will whisper. "Going down."

Int [1d20] = 13
4 penalty right? So I needed like a 9?

[Pyros' int is 15 so at -4 you would need an 11 or lower. For straight ability checks the penalty applies to your ability score, not the roll]

Jerry looks around to the opposite sides of the ziggurat and then stares up at the statue.
