I've got some rules for imbibing. Half orcs get a hefty resistance, as do dwarves. A good CON helps too..

And Lay On Hands can fix most adverse effects excepting critical failure.

Counterkid. Any chance you could put evenwoods speech in "speech marks" or in a different colour? Makes it easier to read.
