[Nocturno: Yep, 1d10 rounds]

Jerry sees that Elsa is already preparing bandages for the ranger, so she begins a prayer. Once again the connection to her goddess is hazy. The power flows through her, but in a trickle. Even Elsa's bandages seem to do more good for the half-elf than the spell. Elsa follows up with a cure of her own, but it too seems stunted. The halfling shakes her head at the meager progress and prepares to lay another cure on him.

Mira and Pyros head into the kitchen towards the stairs. There are two other doors on this floor in the kitchen, one northwest, one south. [See previous map]

====
Elsa casts Cure Moderate Wounds on Artanis f
Elsa heal nwp, hps, cure mod [1d20] = 14, [1d3] = 3, [1d10+1] = 1+1 = 2
Elsa heal check on Artanis, pass for 3 hps.
CMW for 2 hps

Jerry casts Cure Light Wounds on Artanis
Jerry cure light [1d8] = 2
CLW for 2 hps

Artanis is now merely Hurt Badly [8/22]
:lol: Elsa's heal check repaired more damage than her 2nd lvl cure spell!

"Let me check the stairs first.... it seems like he was expecting us." in an unusual caution Pyros makes this suggestion.

[This is a GM roll one right?]

"He probably was. Did you see the curtains move?? It makes me worried someone else is here." Mira agrees and stands near him sword drawn.

Weapon at the ready, Jerry moves towards the opening north of where she stands, ready to look through or open it, as appropriate.

{OOC: Is it a window? or a door?}

[Nocturno: yep.]
[Chris: there are 2 doors north of Jerry. Is she actually opening one?]

Pyros spends 5 minutes searching at the stairs for traps but doesn't find anything.

"Looks to be all clear." He will climb halfway up, and then pause to listen. (DN)

{OOC: Listen and then open if no noise or if not stopped. Plenty of opportunity for people to see what she's doing. Seems illogical to leave areas unexplored behind us.}

Jerry listens carefully at the door, then opens it. She finds that both doors here open into the space. It is a spare room with a couple of pieces of damaged chairs or other simple home supplies. It could be cleared out easily to serve some other purpose but the homeowner has obviously not taken the time.

The den area has a desk, a couch, a stonework fireplace, a small side table.
Elsa concentrates, and says another prayer. This time the divine magic washes over the Ranger much more powerfully, washing away at least half of his remaining wounds. Elsa sighs, as if relieved. How do you feel? Are you ok?

Mira finds the kitchen sports a large circular table with several chairs. There is a stove in one corner and a counter by the window; as well as a door to the west and south.

Pyros creeps upstairs to find a bedroom with a large wardrobe-style closet. Three windows face out from here; one North, one South and one West. There is also a small door near the floor to the west that seems tp lead to an attic crawlspace. He can see the roof from the West window. The roofing isn't in very good repair, which seems a general theme to the house itself.

OOC: Bit of a back post then will bring him up to date.

Artanis slumps against a nearby wall from the damage he has taken. He slowly sheathes his silvered sword and and was making preparations to cast some curative spells on himself when Elsa and Jerry scurry over to him and begin their ministrations on him. And while their curative magics seemed somewhat muted, it still brought him a large measure of relief. He breathes a sigh of relief. "Thank you, kind ladies for the blessings of healing upon me. I was very nearly on the other side, I dare say. So thank you again."

He commences a soft prayer and places his hand over the wound, but again the goddess seems distant and his wounds barely heal at all.

Game Mechanics:
Cast Cure Light wounds on himself: Cure Light Wounds: [1d8] = 1. Yep. Rolled a 1. Artanis is cursed.

The Ranger shrugs and quietly steps over to keep an eye on Pyros, ready to help him if need be. He doesn't get close to Pyros, lest he interfere, but stays where he is within easy supporting distance.

He will first check the wardrobe, and bed table if there is one, for anything with a name or anything engraved. Not to "protect" but to help the group figure out who the wolf thing man is.

If nothing there or he isn't interrupted he will then check to see if the attic door is locked, and/or trapped.

Jerry has a cursory look around the room to see if there's anything interesting such as a diary perhaps, or any other exits from the room (excluding the southern doors).

[Sorry for rushing past, Kerap, (and everyone) just trying to get some stuff in before i'm MIA the next few days. On a trip 14th-17th so posting will be limited. Funny, Elsa rolled a 1 on her first cure spell too.]

I'm just glad you're ok. She watches Artanis healing spell with interest. I always feel like i'm so far away from the Provider here.. it's eerie. she shivers.

Pyros takes 2 minutes to search the small door for traps. Finding none, he tries it. The door opens with a squal to reveal a short attic area the width of the house. It contains various kinds of useless junk and broken household items. The wardrobe is full of baggy looking clothes much to big for the dead man downstairs, but as he thinks, they would probably fit the wolf-thing... There is also a decent looking jacket sized to fit a normal human. There is a bedside table, but it only bears a small candlestand and an empty cup.

Jerry glances about the small room but finds no objects of interest and no openings aside fro, the sputh doors. In the den she finds a small stone vial atop the fireplace mantle. There is also a writing desk in the southeast corner with the drawer partially open.

Jerry inspects the stone vial , looking for a label or marking or on the outside chance it's some weird hind of lever.
If nothing significant, she pockets the stone vial intending to inspect it outside just in case it's an incendiary.

The Mystran then moves to the desk, glancing over anything, particularly written material, on the desk before stooping to look in the drawer.
